I fish the Cogden section of the Chesil Beach on Tuesday 23/4/24.
Fishing the large flooding tide (1pm - 8 pm) , I target plaice with mainly worm baits using loop and pulley rigs
The water clarity was good, so a good chance of success
Parking at the National Trust car park (Cogden) which is free for NT members , walked down to the beach (500 m) then about 400 M towards West Bexington. The path is wide and well maintained
First time fishing at Cogden , the pebbles are small and walking if relatively easy (compared to the Eastern end of the beach)
Blow lug supplied by Reel Fun fishing ( Portishead) and the frozen blacks from Dave Richards Angling (Newport)
