Well, to be precise, these were actually brand new versions of some classic lures. But that's fine. 🙂 Abu Garcia's Atom spoon always catches fish. Apparently the Hi-Lo wobbler is now available in some new body shapes, as well. The original Hi-Lo (from around 1955) was basically a copy of the Heddon Vamp lure (from around 1920), but with an adjustable lip. As far as I know, the classic Hi-Lo was available in two sizes (and sinking/floating variations) and the body shape never changed until now very recently.

Very true, modern updates to the classics that never die! The Hi-Lo's adjustable lip was a game changer!

Yes, but only the paint on them was updated, right? Still same shape and weights, so basically the same :) I had hoped that I could have had a truly old Hi-Lo to put on, but the new ones does the job too. Do you know what year the Atom is from exactly?
