Lungo il fiume Adda è possibile fare lunghe passeggiate: si attraversano paesini, si incontrano uccelli acquatici e i loro nidi, si ammira una flora rigogliosa e si osservano varie opere dell'uomo come ponti, dighe, canali...
In questa passeggiata siamo partiti dal grazioso paese di Brivio, dove si possono ammirare: un Castello del IX secolo che domina ancora l'abitato con la sua struttura a pianta quadrata e torri a pianta circolare; la Filanda Carozzi, un ottimo esempio di architettura illustre applicata ad un edificio industriale, con richiami neogotici e neoclassici; al centro del paese si trova la fornace per la cottura di mattoni, coppi e tegole, poiché la lavorazione dell'argilla era un'attività diffusa in quanto la materia era abbondantemente presente.
A Imbersago, che si trova nell'area dell'Ecomuseo di Leonardo da Vinci, è possibile attraversare il fiume con il traghetto di Leonardo: particolare tipo di traghetto a mano, che sfrutta la corrente per spostarsi.
Along the Adda river it is possible to take long walks: you pass through villages, meet water birds and their nests, admire a luxuriant flora and observe various works of man such as bridges, dams, canals...
In this walk we started from the pretty village of Brivio, where you can admire: a 9th century castle that still dominates the town with its square plan structure and circular towers; the Filanda Carozzi, an excellent example of illustrious architecture applied to an industrial building, with neo-Gothic and neoclassical references; in the center of the village there is the furnace for cooking bricks, bent tiles and tiles, since the working of clay was a widespread activity as the material was abundantly present.
In Imbersago, which is located in the area of ​​the Leonardo da Vinci Ecomuseum, it is possible to cross the river with Leonardo's ferry: a particular type of hand ferry, which uses the current to move around.
