I’ve owned the Sony a6300 for almost 3 years now, and I wanted to go over five things I absolutely love about it. There are actually many things that I enjoy about the camera, but these are my top five in no particular order.
Sony a6300: amzn.to/2IT0sht
It’s very light weight. But it doesn’t feel cheaply made. Vlogging with it doesn’t make your arm tired too quickly. What you see on the LCD screen and through the viewfinder is pretty much what you get in your final photo. This isn’t exclusive to the Sony a6300, but it is exclusive for mirrorless cameras. I’ve briefly used full frame DSLR Canon and Nikon cameras, and while they’re well-made and produce great photos, they lack this characteristic that the Sony a6300 and other mirrorless cameras have.
The Sony a6300 is extremely portable. It doesn’t take up too much space. I don’t need a huge bag to fit it in. It’s not cumbersome in the hands.
Menu system is easily navigable. Some Sony users say it’s a little clunky, but with the Sony a6300 being the first semi-professional camera I’ve owned, this is the menu system I’ve learned on so I really have nothing to compare it to. I’m sure there are some things that looking back in hindsight, Sony could have done differently to make navigating the menu system more efficient, but I like it for what it is.
The image quality is amazing, even in low light scenarios. Daytime photo quality is excellent. Dynamic range is awesome. That’s one of the reasons I purchased Sony over Canon or Nikon.
Many of the photos I’ve taken of the night sky have been between ISO 1600 and 4000, and even though there is noise present in the photos, a lot of it is easily taken out in post processing or isn’t really noticeable.
