Takes a little more time, but sand paper,heat gun and a sheeps wool buffing wheel brings plastic back to new with no cover up products to wear away.

Yep, it takes elbow grease and a few steps. It's kind of like using rubbing compound on dead paint on a car. Takes some time and work.

Didn't know you had a video on this. Pretty cool. I have a push mower that needs the plastic and paint shined up for good resale value.

Friend of mine used carb cleaner(in a can) too clean the headlights on his car.Squirted some on a rag One swipe and they were clean Wonder how that would work on plastic body work?

+mike97525 Carb cleaner is tough of plastic. It will remove the gloss and make it look flat or rough.

I've been reading and watching that Boiled Linseed oil mixed 50/50 with paint thinner is really the way to go!

It works great, makes the plastic look like BRAND new, but it isn’t permanent. It does last a pretty long time when the ATV is garage kept but when I kept my ATV outside it lasted maybe 4-5 months. Super easy to apply though, so I still use that method. Only takes me 5 minutes to wipe the whole quad down with it and it looks amazing on my Recon with. 18 year old plastics. Looks like new

what product do I use to get the " lanolin " off in-wanted areas from fluid film ? tried acitone...didn't seem to work....want to prime and paint areas that fluid film got onto.....need tried and true product....thanks...bob...

Why not just use a 3 step buffing compound and shine the plastic?

Chemical guys tire shine the no sling kind. 7 bucks and it will make any ATV look great at a fraction of anything else. Lil trick I learned

Wouldn’t it be more effective if you would apply the material in a circular motion, at least that’s what I have seen some pros do and was taught?

UGOTSLAPPED Ndaface no circles makes swirls . Professionals use straight lines

I have been using Nu Finish since it came out, never looked back.

+Curiosity I like it too because it comes off easy and looks nice when done and I think it says one application a year.

Yea and it’s a polish not a wax . It doesnt really “go on” it polished what’s there

Water-based polyurethane is not going to give you any type of UV protection and probably going to peel if you have a film build.

instructions on nu finish says do not use on plastic!
