This is exactly what I needed. Had some trouble with the float and noticed the pancake or other flexibility from a different video but was not sure where to start. I'll keep at this, thanks as always for the great content!!

Thank you for your good content. For me the flexability is easier then the strength part. It takes sooo long to build up strength….

Same here. For me, the hips aren't the issue - it's the strength!

Great, yes I’d recommend everyone trains both but you will normally see more progress with one than the other

I'm the opposite, can do weighted dips 115 pounds beyond bodyweight but lack flexibility in my hips, can't seem to fix anterior pelvic tilt, etc

Hi Paul, what about the strength of the hip flexors and abdominals to help with the compression. Do you think this is important? Thanks, Rich.

I put less emphasis on this both in my coaching and in my training/intention. It’s normally flexibility that hinders the stacking and if you fix that then you do t need to actively pull legs to torso

Could you please show us some tips for stretching stiff wrists?
@kingly71
@kingly71 Жыл бұрын
my intuition is its a strength thing and not mobility... unless you have a decent bit of handstand or planche training under your belt the wrists needs months and months of conditioning before you can get into much of a press handstand position. take it slow! you have countless tendons & ligaments in this part of your body and they're begging to be strained by these exercises.. enjoy the journey!

Yeah I’ll cover in a future video. It’s normally a combination of conditioning (so give it time, loading a little more everyday) and mobility not just the wrists but the forearm, shoulders and thoracic

@@PaulTwyman Two years ago I fell skating and landed on my wrists, which took the impact, but nothing serious happened. A little pain that took months to heal. They dont't hurt but they hardened. Well I guess that I'll need more conditioning (more months) My HS is getting there fine, but there is no chance I can get that angle with wrists and forearms, for now. Thanks, I watch all your videos.
