My experience with the international cluster repair, I got my soldering iron and solder from Home Depot. I hope this helps someone out who has a dash that is currently not working, or intermittently working. Thanks .

The board made to be pull off, no need taking it completely apart also a lot time saved, but great video anyway, I owned dozen of internationals and can only think of 1 truck I had no problem with cluster.

Thanks for that! When I made this video there was a few sources of info out there but every time i've tried removing plastic piece from circuit board it would not budge, I looked at it recently and found the spot i was missing to allow it to release but I appreciate your comment!

Thank you for making this video! Are speedometer and RPM gauge got stuck so I’m gonna try this out before I bring it into the shop!

The miles numbers are not moving (rolling) any idea how to make them move, as the bus moves. Thank you.

Hey Cesar! I would inspect the contact points directly behind the hour and mileage gauge if there are any. I am not too sure as I honestly haven't inspected my panel since making this video, I fortunately have not had any issues since the repair and my gauges still work to this day. Since I see it has a few views at this point it may be worth to do an update on it. Thanks for the comment, if I put another video up I will comment again to let you know.

If you notice the holes behind each gauge, you can pop the gauges off the circuit board through those with your thumb. The circuit board has a couple screws holding it to the plastic frame so it can be removed from the frame. Good job though on soldering down through the gauge openings!

Thank you so much!! I had thought someone flipping glued the housing to the circuit board! i melted the crap out of part of the plastic but so far so good. I do have to remove it again here soon and I will more than likely do a follow up video! Thanks for the kind words!

Hey Mike! If your gauge looks similar to mine, it may be the just about the same process. Just be aware of your contact points and figure out the motherboards lay out so you know what you're soldering. I cannot say for certain, as our rig is a 1998. I'm sorry I couldn't help you with more information! Best of luck.

Know what is the bulb number to change for led
@willkelly79634 жыл бұрын
I couldnt tell you 100% as I didnt replace the bulbs in my dash ( even though i need to ) . But here is what i found for you mate. These look identical in physical appearance, this is my search result for the most common international dash bulb replacement for a 1998 International 3800. www.amazon.com/Instrument-Cluster-Bulb-pack-2506796C1/dp/B06XX11ZWR

These bulbs are also NOT LED - these look to be incandescent type bulbs.
