You should do the Outsiders I think you would really like doing it. (Even though there are a lot of characters in the book the movie does not do them justice) Also the description of the characters is in the very first couple of pages,

Honestly yeah. They should create enjoyable content with morals and themes that relate and correspond to the book, not movies that is just one out of millions of others left on the shelf for the rest of eternity (especially when that book is actually really freaking good. The crazy intense stuff starts more book 4, book 5 for anyone who is wondering. For the others, sit back and watch our character suffer and grow up into a lifestyle of betrayal, death, and insanity)

They ruined Grover, one of the nicest characters who's motivation through out the books is to get his searchers license so he can go clean the planet.

I honestly love how each book picked up after the other one and seeing percy started to grow up and be comfortable using his power. It ones my favorite part, AND THEY REMOVED IT!! WHY?

@@emoweeb6627 Also they ruined Kronos in the sequel. In the books he was definitely the main villain and mastermind. This guy was literally unstoppable! Able to freeze time and completely obliterate everyone in his path but in the live action adaptation, he was reduce into a freakin' joke! XD

I mean, I really liked seeing a black disables guy being really charming (when he has the crutches -sorry don't know if it's a real word), it felt like good representation... if he had had a more active role tho.

My problem was that they ruined the character arks of everyone. Making the prophecy an evil soul instead of a hero's soul means Luke won't be redeemed, making Kronos not take over Luke's body takes away all of Annabeth's conflict, and cutting it down by 2 movies means no one gets an ark

I’m very glad that Disney is supposed to be making a adaptation series with the cannon ages and that supposed to follow the cast as they grow up. Hopefully we’ll get to see it and possibly see characters we didn’t get to in the movies(specifically Nico and Leo).

Annabeth is probably the most resourceful and level-headded character in the book, but they completely chopped off all of her interesting traits and made her "strong generic female love interest girl" in the "movie" (Using the term movie very lightly)

As a twelve-year-old, I did not pay that much attention to clothes. So I don't think Percy would, either, unless it is very distinctive (like the Camp Half-Blood shirt). I definitely appreciate how difficult it made it for you, though. A single, young POV makes things difficult to adequately describe unless it is super important or distinctive.

Harry Potter at least had the excuse of their being so many characters in the books that get development, but in Percy Jackson and the olympians there's like 5-6 main characters you have to develop. Percy, Annabeth, Grover (not as much as the first two), Tyson, Nico, and Luke.

the inaccuracies with annabeth in the movie pisses me off because it was so glaringly easy to make her blonde, i feel like they just didnt want to make a smart blonde character, it didnt even matter in the end because they made her absolutely useless in the movie, it just feels like they didn't want to make any of them interesting or complex like they were in the books, so the directors just fell on old tropes of, "useless woman," "cool badass protagonist," and "comic relief minority side character" for the main three

I wanted to die after what they did to Annabeth. The reason her character looked like a stereotypical valley girl was to highlight how enemies could easily underestimate her much like Athena. Athena, her Mom, was underestimated in the Greek times because of her femininity and yet she is one of the most bad ass Greek goddesses of all time. In the movie, they were trying to make Annabeth "bad ass" by making her look less stereo typically girly, while at the same time, making her really boring.

I actually really appreciate this. I love the Percy Jackson (and following series’s) and have refused to watch the movies because I don’t want it to ruin my memory of the book scenes. Your characters look exactly like how I’ve imagined them, really great job!

This entire movie is just like: “oh since Percy is the main character in this movie everyone else has to be useless, obviously. Make him consistently win every battle without help. Oh, and that tough, independent, girl who is the most experienced and skilled main character? We can’t have that. We don’t do that here.”

I completely agree! Percy was meant to be useless at everything at first, it specifically said about how he was only good at rowing and that he wasnt rlly as proud as that , but no, beat the girl who has had like 7 years (correct me if im wrong) of training??

• Wanna See My Shot Glass Collection • That was one of my favorite moments in the books. And the way he described how he was slowly losing control about the glass breaking in his mind was amazing. I’m sad that we don’t get to see a dark Percy anymore
