And then at some point Barry gets nerfed for no reason in the next episode or so. Dont get me wrong The Flash is not entirely bad in general and I do like how experiened he became throughout every season but its kind of annoying to see him become OP for 1 ep and then get his ass kicked over silly scene. But then again, Flash wouldnt need like 9 seasons if hes not nerfed at some point.

The sound he makes when beginning to run faster at age 100 has a similarity to Black Flash, but not quite, it's as if he achieves speeds that would seem impossible, somewhat of a God-hood, the Ultimate speedster. At least that's my initial impression, pretty cool.

Did you know that speedsters age slower than humans so when their over a hundred years old they would look like they were in their 30s or 40s for example Barry Allen is still alive and running around as The Flash in the 25th century so he wouldn’t look like he is 100 when he is 100 so either the writers of The Flash didn’t know about this fact, or they have never rewatched their own show to fact check their writing.

Barry must be running with different speed for this scene. Like there are mach 10 and stuff. And barry in season 4 must be used his maximum speed at that time. And in this scene barry still affected while stoping this wave. In case you may not see the the full episode, barry using his speed making him age faster and has to use his low/minimun speed as "safe way" to not having a heart attack and stuff. Gideon also said in this episode that barry speed is decreasing
