Air to Air videos are so cool. Watching the 787 climbing out of YVR from inside the Lear jet doing the same thing, was awesome. Vancouver is a very beautiful city and it looks no better than in the sunshine. Great work! Thank you to everyone involved.

I used to shoot the ground film for many airlines, mostly American Airlines, and my buddy Clay Lacy shot the air-to-air in his fancy Lear Jet. It was great fun playing with those giant toys. I've got a few amazing stories that I don't think wise to write.

As an aviation enthusiast and photographer (formerly a videographer) I truly enjoyed this clip. I have flown the 787 twice and will do so again next month. I love this craft and I am an Air Canada fan, having been able to compare the airline and aircraft with quite a few others in my life.

Did anyone notice that at 13:32 the water bottle that the captain dropped landed upright on the ground?

Having that black and red AC livery on the belly of the plane is a nice touch. Especially the shot towards the end where the 787 banks toward the left.

Wow! I did not realize the amount of work that goes into those airline ads. Very impressed!

Major Mitchell is the real deal people. By that, I mean he is one hell of a pilot. One of the very few allowed to fly with the Snowbirds two separate tours (one of them being Maj. Dan Dempsey) including that of C.O. Always been impressed watching his flight skills. It shows flying the ancient Lear which is not an easy airplane to fly smoothly for hours on end manually and Mitchell makes it look like its on cruise control. Have a nice flight!

oh shit, I saw this being shot from the ground and even took a small clip of it. At the time I thought it was a rouge plane being escorted by the Air Force. Spend the next 30 mins searching twitter for any news stories for a hijacking, but didn't find any, so figured it was prob just a Air Force training exercise. Nice to finally know what it was :)

I like this new livery I remember when Air Canada planes used to have black tail fins with the bright red leaf on them and always liked them better than the light blue ones, so it's nice to see that come back. I like that they've managed to incorporate their original logo as well.
