@@Layla-hg4ux Deleted her number, blocked her on IG, got rid of every gift, every photo on my gallery and so forth. Hell I even made it a rule to not even say her name. Out of sight, out of mind. I promise you’ll feel stronger when you do that. That’s gonna motivate you to move forward. I still miss her sometimes but I’ve built enough pride and self respect to miss her with no intention of texting her again. She’s come back about 6 times over a course of a year tryna rekindle and sh*t. When you truly leave people alone, they come back. Go MIA and work on your healing, you got this.

Had the same thing happen to me in April. She broke up with me, but requested that we become friends. I politely declined her goodwill offer. Why? The offer to remain friends translates to keeping you in a corner in case her other ventures don't work.

It’s been a 5 weeks since it ended officially, and a month since she came and got her things, then no contact since then. I was creeping (she didn’t see) and saw she posted on her story some song that I looked up about not needing a man and being independent. Then she unfriended me on FB the same day. This was a couple days ago, almost 1 month after no contact. I’m sure this is her expressing her mood and feeling at the moment, which leads me to believe I’m still on her mind. There was no big blowout, just a breakup. Is it really best to just wait? I know NC is for me, myself, and I’ve been working out, dieting, paying down debt crazily and doing all the right things to become the best version of myself. But I still think about her everyday. Is there ever a situation where I should reach out, that they would be stubborn and waiting for me to fight for her? I’m just so confused and don’t want to lose her. NC is counterintuitive to me, that maybe she will get over me overtime and move on.

I’ve dated a lot of narcs in my day and what I can say is that all exes, especially those who hurt you, eventually come back. And whenever they do, I never send them to voicemail. I don’t reply to texts, I do nothing and believe you me it humbles them and puts them back into their place a heck of a lot quicker than hearing my voicemail and automatically knowing it’s because they’re blocked. Try it, trust me it works. You think they show their asses when they believe they have power over you, then just wait and see how much they show it when a bitch realizes they now don’t. It's over boss

If anyone cares.. she was putting out feelers.. playing the little games.. eventually she asked to get drinks, I said yes.. it was going very well.. too much alcohol was involved. She ended up at my place and it went sour. She made moves on me then ended up being very cruel. This time back to no contact truly with the mindset of forever. I would need to see big changes. I’ve put in the work.. better mindset, less anxious.. ripped up body.. new car.. new job.. new apartment.. feeling like him. The past two days have been extremely painful. I won’t let her take me back to a dark place though. I think she saw me doing well (IG) and got curious.. maybe even wanted to spoil it. Childish. Be someone YOU will be proud of.. not anyone else. Someone great will accept all of you and it won’t have to be so difficult. Haven’t even watched the video but thanks coach.

If they’ve slept with someone else within that 3 months and try to come back, then they are also disqualified, do not take em back. They will never respect you and always think about doing it again. In reality no contact is really for yourself most of the time.

I had a similar situation and months later when he happened to see me by chance, he apologized but I didn’t linger to talk, all I said was, that’s alright, and walked away but it hurt to do it. It was the most painful thing I had to do, but I figured if he couldn’t say more to me than 2 words upon seeing me by circumstance, why should I say or do more? It’s not like he made an effort to call or come to see me to talk to me, oh no, he took the easy way out when he happened to see me after 6 months,; he wouldn’t have apologized yet if he hadn’t run into me that day. The same will happen to you, he’ll be back if you stay away, but you might find it difficult to do anything if he acts like my ex and doesn’t make a special deliberate effort to contact you and then apologize to you. My ex had a half smile as he said it, maybe as an unsaid hello, but it was weird and hurtful at the same time. I’m hearing he’s regretting having walked out on me for no reason, he just disappeared on me, there was no argument or signs of anything wrong. Hugs to you, you’ll get through this. Remember to be gentle on yourself as you heal.
