Dude you make great videos. I look forward to your Floatwheel videos. Even though it's info I know, it's fun to watch and not too long.

Quick tip. Lube the hub and bead with a bit of petroleum jelly.. if your gead doesnt set still, tap tire with a 2x4 while it inflates. :) excellent video

Now that you don’t need the BMS tool anymore, can I borrow it? 🤣 Man, I would love to check my cell voltages but to buy the tool for only one application that I will rarely need kinda sucks.

I have the 5.5 maxxis and seat the beads at 60psi. scare the #hit out of me lol. Taking it out will be a challenge so Im keeping it for now.

did you change over from OW? hows the ride feel comparatively? got a pintX a while back been wanting more speed and torque for my hilly area
@garrymullins6 ай бұрын
Holy shit. Were you able to lower the pressure remotely? I'd be scared going near the tire at those pressures.

Cool beans, have you thought of trying suspension for your adv?

I have not, also sold my board, moving on to other things.

Can you give an advice to blanace charge a Onewheel GT? Is there a way to know without the per cell voltage. And what can we do other than put the board on charger for 24 hrs. I have taken an advice from another person where he set a 10 minutes timer and re charge like this every hour. I think it helps.
@crashyride7 ай бұрын
According to FM's website, you should leave the board plugged into the charger overnight to let it balance the cells.

Do you know what kind of socket is needed to replace the battery pack with a homemade one without cutting the original cable?
@crashyride7 ай бұрын
I don't know. Ask on the Floatwheel Discord server.

Those the side fender fit?
@crashyride3 ай бұрын
Yes, the mini fenders fit without rubbing on the tire.

Have u thought about replacing the bms with something smarter?
@crashyride7 ай бұрын
Yes. People who know way more about this than me said it would be a huge project. I'll wait for the v2 electronics.

I’m 175lbs and broke my bead by just leaning on it with a firm push. Iirc my second bead set at 83psi (Burris Slayer)
@wrybread2 ай бұрын
Wow, I'm 210 and couldn't break mine. Finally did with a long 5 foot-ish 2x4, put one end on the bead and tightrope walk it.
@smokeyBJJ2 ай бұрын
@@wrybread I finally came across a bead I could break! The T2 had too soft of a sidewall and kept on rolling over. I ended up buying a bead breaker from TFL. It was a waste of money but certainly makes my work bench look much cooler 😂

@@wrybread I’m also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and really know how to transfer my weight which helps to break beads

@@wrybread exactly!!! Remember anything you leave touching the ground is weight that can be in your opponent….i mean tire! 😝
