For people in the comments saying there shouldn't be any endangered species in the zoos in the first place: It really depends on the zoo. Some zoos are just for profits and doesn't treat the animals properly, but other zoos help endangered animals breed and grow before they release them back into the wild and spend tons of money for medication and their environment. Many endangered species would be extinct if not for the zoos that were there to bring them in and take care of them.
