Always enjoy your flosstubes, so many interesting stitching projects. I love making all the berry pies, using the lard crust and I fill the crust too full so have frequent boil overs of the berry filling.

Hey there my friend!!! I just watched your video.I am so behind and have not kept up at all this month. You are so prolific with your stitching and it is a joy to see those beautiful stitches on the linen even if the color is messed up by the technology!!! I love all of your SAL projects ...I just might need to join in on a few because I love the people they are being stitched for and I love the charts!! Wayfarers Cloak is by far my new favorite linen and guess what???? I think I am going to try my hand at project bags using your fabulous tutorial. My favorite berry is blackberry. I used to live where there were fields of wild blackberries. I would just drive the SUV into the fields and we would reach out the windows and pick the blackberries. Between pie and cake, depends on thr pie or cake, LOL.

Wow! You accompanied a lot this month. I am impressed. I also am a cake person and my husband is a pie person. Rhubarb is his favorite. Birthday month! I love it. Horay for Betsy! That blue is a fussy little one, isn't she? I love pie. I love cake. Strawberry shortcake is so good. I also like making a berry galette. It's super easy to make and so delicious.

Hi Abi! Yeah, the blue issue was so odd! Usually the color balance is pretty accurate on my videos so I'm not sure if there is a setting that I need to re-adjust or what but it was so weird. Let's just say tech and I have some issues to work out. : )

Have been wanting to stitch Strawberry Fields for awhile, after seeing all of yours I'm now on ebay trying to get all of them! Enablers at work😁 I'm a cake person too, but my grandmother made Berry Cobbler with blackberries and raspberries with a biscuit topping, great memories! THANKS for sharing your stitching, beautiful!

Hi Susan! I know all of the Blackbird Designs Magical Mystery Tour series charts are still in print and should be relatively easy to find at your favorite local needlework shop or online retailer. They are really fun to stitch, and while I usually stitch on a 36 or 40 count, I enjoy stitching these on 32 count with two strands - they look so pretty that way and the called for flosses really stand out.

I love the chalkboard threads. I ordered a skein of Falu Red to test for Ann Grimshaw, but after seeing your progress, I may end up doing it in black (chalkboard). Great circus moment! 😂

You had me at They Mostly Come At Night, I loved that movie. So much so I need to go see if I can watch it again. The circus music was THE BEST. LOL My favorite berry? We have wild black raspberries here in Indiana and they are freaking amazing. Sadly, you are pretty much guaranteed to get chiggers when you pick them. They are worth it.

I was going to take the berry from the Poke weed it comes up in the fields the berrys are fuchsia purple pink and you can dye fabric with it, and I was going to do that ......I think the chickens ate them all!!! hahaha! I'm not used to farm animals My daughter just started renting this small farm in the beginning of the year. Blackberry is my favorite. Have a awesome day!

My dad’s favorite pie was “what have you got?” His favorite grandchild was “who are you?” I’m a cake girl too…my mom would make that famous strawberry cake made with strawberry jello in it for my birthday. So my favorite berry is strawberry cake!

This pattern reminds me of the strawberry picking farm that was down the road from us when my kids were growing up. We always had a good time going there. Then they had pumpkins in the fall

You are always great fun, love your videos. My favorite berry is the raspberries and I have several plants that I got from my Uncle's farm and he passed away a few years ago and his berry patch no longer exist on his farm. I am so glad I was able to get them. I eat more than I pick, but I do make jam with the extras.

It was so good to see you again! I always love seeing your projects. I agree about stitching, SALs, and the stitching community being such a wonderful escape from day to day stresses. Even though I don’t personally know the FlossTubers I watch, I still feel like I do and look forward to “catching up”. Who knows, maybe one day I will be brave enough to start a FlossTube 😏. I just received my Christmas at Hollyberry Farm. I’m looking forward to kitting it up and having it ready for a Christmas start. I’d be interested to know what fabric you’re thinking of using. Hi Kara! If you are considering starting a channel, my 2 cents is to go for it. I'm thinking that I will likely tackle the Hollyberry Series next year, but the called for fabric for Christmas at HB Farm is R&R Mink - so if I can't get my hands on that I will probably use something dark and grungy - maybe Ale or Oaken by Picture This Plus? And xJuDesign has some gorgeous dark linen with beautiful mottling that would work well too.

Hi Jody, Steve from Lancaster PA here, first time commenting. It is with gleeful swiftness that I click on your videos when I see you've posted a new one! Love your zen-ish flair for things, your comic relief (your reaction to a gassy dog comes to mind), your mindful choice of wording, lots of projects similar to my choices, etc., all adds up to a very enjoyable time for me. It was nice seeing 'Strawberry Fields" stitched in all the called for flosses for a change, beautiful. I'm in agreement with your husband, pie rules! I also wouldn't be able to pick a favorite, but black rasp berry custard pie would be up there. I'm also a Nov birthday boy, but as of yet, not an instagram user, so no SALs for me...but may happen soon, seems fun. Thanks for your efforts here, great vids!

Hi Jody, it's been a while, I'm so far behind on my flosstube watching, I still have to watch your previous video. You have great projects! I've just kitted up Strawberry Fields Forever but I can't decide on the fabric... I would really love to try the Leo&Roxy floss one day it looks yummy! Missed you. Glad to hear all is well. Good update. I have never participated in a SAL. Not quite sure how they work. I guess I better figure it out because I would like to stitch The project for Laura's birthday. My favorite berry are blueberries .

Hi Joan! Are you on Instagram? That platform is where most SAL information is shared but you can stitch along even if you're not on Instagram. It is basically just an opportunity for people to stitch something (or more accurately - start something) together. I'd be happy to share more details with you if you like - just let me know. (I'm a relative newcomer to using Instagram with any regularity but it's essentially a photo sharing site where lots of people in the Flosstube community - viewers included - share their stitching or other related projects.)

Bees are good! They are now in full fall/winter mode, only a few venturing out on sunny days. Last inspection was about a month ago and they had TONS of honey and pollen stored so hopefully they will overwinter successfully. I'll be keeping an eye on them and will do some supplemental feeding to give them the best chance in case we have a longer (cold) spring.

Cake, pie, berry crumble or however you bake it is all good. But I would have to vote on Cheesecake as my favorite, I’m not sure how that is classified. I’ve been making that since I was in my teens in the 70’s. A thick 4” high 8 or 9” round, so very filling, 3 different cheeses. It’s requested by family members all around. Happy Stitching 🧵 🪡

Ohhhh, cheesecake. My mom makes amazing cheesecake and occasionally I attempt her recipe and while it's good, it doesn't touch hers. She's got some kind of space magic that takes it to a different level. So good!!

You may find this hard to believe but we have a berry present in our yard now. Raspberries. I am on east coast Canada. Unbelievable to have berries ripe this late in the year. Climate change I am sure. So glad to see you back. I laughed out loud over "cue the clown music".

Hi Sheila! I believe it, we have some ever-bearing raspberry plants here too, and they seem to produce late into the fall some years. Although I see that some of your neighbors have had snow in the past couple of days, so that's what I get for being late to the reply game. Thanks so much for watching, I enjoy your videos! I loved the circus music! I literally laughed out loud and my little ones both looked at me (since I watch with my headphone in and they can't hear) like I was crazy, which just made it all the better! Speaking of my kiddos, they love all things berry....it doesn't matter what kind.

Yellow Submarine is very fun to stitch, the sub has lots of space for fill-in so it would be perfect for a retreat or group stitchy days where you just want something that doesn't involve a ton of counting. : )

Ugh I love Caroline and want to order some of the Leo and Roxy threads. Thanks for highlighting them so thoroughly today!! A number of years ago I discovered a mulberry tree and decided to make it into jam. I used those along with red currants and blueberries. Man oh day it made the yummiest berry jam!!

My favorite fresh berry is strawberry, but I LOVE a berry mix (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, etc.) baked in (and on) a coffee cake, served with a bit of sweetened sour cream...excuse me, I need to go in search of a snack now. As I watch your video, I'm stitching with Leo & Roxy Antique Wedding Dress on black fabric.

My favorite berry is strawberry. I have made several strawberry finishes with my cross-stitch, but I need a tutorial on finishing the top. Any chance you could do that?
