Nice video but I would like to see how you sit and work if you are sitting on a couch . Does the stand fit under the couch and get close enough to reach comfortably or will my arms be stretched out and get uncomfortable?

It depends on how much clearance your sofa has off the ground. For exact dimensions contact Evertote and they can help with that.

You enabled the purchase of No Time Like the Present (and the 2 Stichman charts). I like your sense of style and color choices. Have you decided on floss and fabric for this MFE Sal? I am not confident making color choices. Not sure to stick with 2 colors, or maybe add a third, or maybe even do monochromatic. HELP, lol

I’ve actually just started that one and have decide on two Roxy Floss Co colors. One is Yonder (it was in the 2024 Holiday Countdown but might be available on Evertote) and Dirty Martini which is a perfect olive green.

Hi Jody! I had to watch this flosstube twice - it’s so chock full of goodness. Could you hear my audible gasps down the I-5 corridor when you shared your FFOs?! Thank you for sharing so much beautiful stitchy inspiration. My lower jaw hit the ground when I saw your start on MT 1810. I got that chart for the birds and did not even look at the stitch count or possible finished size - wow! She is one big girl and is going to be a showstopper on your bird wall. The Palms is a gorgeous WIP and your sentiment for Maui is similarly felt by me and my family. ❤

I was a tester stitcher for the 2 Hearthside Craftworks stands when they were created : original floor stand and Mark II. I have both and love them. Since I got them I have never looked back to my other floor stands!! ( and I have many from different brands ). I have been using the Mark II since 2005!! John and Helen Wilkes were amazing owners. I’m very glad that another Canadian business took over their products after their retirement. Just as a note : the side bars in the rotating system can be exchange for longer ones to be able to rotate 360 degrees. I’m so happy that you too love the Mark II 🌹

@@OfftheGridNeedlearts Thanks so much!!! Another quick question while I have you on the line ☺️. I see they are made with red oak. All my furniture (Amish made) is red or white oak with Michael’s Cherry stain. Is the stain you use comparable (think dark cherry). Thanks again!

Yes - they are indeed made with solid red oak, but the finish is more golden rather than cherry. We could possibly sell an unstained frame if you would wish to match it to the rest of your furniture - I don't see why not. @@texstylust
