Your free motion quilting is turning out beautiful! I’m going to start quilting too. I have a sewing machine, the fabrics, the pattern. All that’s left is the courage to actually start. 😆 Ann Borrett is a gorgeous pattern. I’d love to stitch it ❤

Thanks for the generous gift. You got a lot done on your patriotic quilt, and it’s going to be beautiful! I’ve never been able to get the hang of free motion quilting, and I can’t even imagine how frustrating it would be to have so many problems when starting out. Maybe your machine just likes being a little dirty. 😂 Hope all goes well with the deck project. 💜🌸💜

Good Morning :) I am going to work on Snow Village today too. I really want to get this one finished. It's been around way too long. Buttermilk Basin looks great already. You are so ambitious. I think your Shine On quilt looks amazing. Sure wish I knew how to do that. I hope you are feeling better so you can stitch stitch stitch :)

Good luck on the deck project. It is on our list to do our deck as well. Lots of work and will add to the backache! The Ann chart from Hands Across the Sea looks interesting. Thanks for another great video. Your quilt is very nice.

I am also stitching the Patriotic Sampler SAL, and just posted my first block to their website. It did take forever to do all the prep work for this SAL, but now it will be easier to complete each week's block!

Any progress is still progress. Sorry your back is still bothering, but you are doing the right thing and recognizing when you need a break. My granddaughter would love a mermaid on the wall and Ann shows beautifully how patience will result in a lovely piece of embroidery. Thank you for taking the time to share your progress. So sorry that you are still having back problems, I know how you feel. I have had back problems including a ruptured disc since 2005. It can limit a lot of things that you can do. The Ann Sampler looks amazing! Don’t over do the yard work it may aggravate your back even further. Have a good week, Christine, and happy stitching and/or quilting!

I use a neck and shoulder heated rice pack when I'm stitching. So far it has prevented any soreness or stiffness. I know you struggled with your quilt but I think it's beautiful!

Christine, take care of your back and nect, you know sttiching is what keeps us calm (me, anyway). Your did quite a bit on the Shine On quilt and the prepping always takes way more time tha we think it will. Your deck project sounds like alot of work, so both of you be careful.
