Happy New year Floss Tube! Here is my full review of the Monstrik Stand from the Omanik Factory in Estonia. I've been using the stand for nearly two months now, so I've given it a good trial before the review. I've also attached below my previous upload where I show how to build the stand and I show some of the key features of the Monstrik stand. Also attached two of Orietta stitches videos where she shows how to set up the quantum frames and one where she meets Anton and his Dad over in the Omanik Factory. I've also linked the Omanik factory Facebook page so you can see some of the future developments. I hope you enjoy xx

I know this is an older video but thank you for leaving it posted. I'm in the market for a bright white light w/magnifier because I'm visually impaired. I had one for twenty years which my dentist had ordered for me. It was perfect, medical-grade with wonderful magnification, and made of steel. It lasted for twenty years but now I've not been able to find anything even close to it. So my search continues.

What a beautiful little fur baby. Cocker Spaniel? Poppy has the sweetest little face! Dogs have a way about them, don't they, if a pillow is between thee and me, off in the floor it goes.

Thanks for this review. I often see the stand set up in pictures and videos but have always wanted to see it in an actual stitching position, not just displayed with no idea how it works with where you might stitch.. Now I can see that you can get the work really close, without having to hunch over it, and also that the stand itself doesn't need to tuck under furniture to get that close. Great video.

Love your review of the Omanik stand. Have had mine for 3 years now along with the quantum frames when they were introduced and I think I was first to purchase in US. I couldn't resist when they said they had clamps to hold the round Millennium frames which I had recently purchased but could not find a stand to hold them. I commented on the Yuku Heaven and Earth bulletin board and on several facebook cross stitch groups. People were skeptical that something made in Estonia would be useful. After several months and many comments some people were brave enough to give Omanik a try and were pleasantly surprised. So glad that you are happy with the stand. I think it is the best most versatile stand available on the market today. Also pricing is excellent. I studied everything I could find for almost a year on this stand prior to purchase and as your comments stated they were constantly improving their products. Customer service is great. Quantum frames are equivalent in use to millenniums. I have both. Only difference is appearance. What i really wanted to comment on was a suggestion for a good light. Daylight slimline is one of the best. LED, cool with natural color light. Sort of expensive but well worth the money. Video link kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a72bpdd7lbe9oX0.html . Another good lamp is the Z-bar or mini Z-bar by Koncept lighting. Similar in style to the slimline. I have the Z- bar which I got used from Ebay and is wonderful for stitching. Z-bar link koncept.com/Z-Bar mini z-bar link koncept.com/Z-Bar-Mini. Good luck. Not sure if Koncept lighting available in UK.

Hi Lisa thanks so much for answering my question. What I figured out is that I did not receive the clamps. I checked my emails from Anton and in fact I had ordered them. Hopefully he will send them soon. Thanks again for a great video.

Thanks for a great video. I had bought a 110 cm Omanik frame and a lowery frame and found it was overweighted for the lowery. Your video has sold me on the mostrik stand. I wish I watched this prior to spending my money on the lowery frame. Although I do love the lowery for smaller pieces, but with Haed pieces this looks perfect

Hi Kathy, I know exactly where you are coming from with this. The Monstrik is a great stand and I use it almost every day either with the scrole frames or the Q-snap xx

Hi Doreen, here is the link to the Quantum frames, you can select the length of frame and then the height of the side stretcher bars that you want, I hope it helps xx omanikfactory.com/product-category/quantum

Thank you for this review. I would like to know. How much space do you still need for your sofa to be able to work with this standard.

Golly, this is really a late message to you. I have been watching for a while now and just saw the review on the floor hoop. I use two different lights both are mighty bright lights and are fabulous. The floor lamp is a light and a magnifier in one. I use it a lot in both cross stitching and in diamond painting. Also mighty bright makes a clip on version to put on your hoop. It is very light weight but very bright. It actually has two setting bright bright and bright. lol I got them from Amazon. On Etsy recently I found the plug in for the clamp on might light. It saves a lot on batteries. It's the only place I have ever seen to take out your batteries if you plug it in, I cannot say enough about these two lights. See you, have a great day

I'd return the lamp and explain it is too bulky for the stand, looking at it it needs to be led lighting and smaller and more flexible if you know what I mean...Happy New Year Lisa and Poppy, happy stitching Xx

Hi Lisa, Does the horizontal bar that holds the scroll frame come with the stand, or do you have to order it separately? I'm so glad to have found this video, I also have neck/shoulder/back issues that would make this very adjustable stand ideal.

Just watched your review again. i don't know if you figured this out yet but when using for qsnaps if you tighten the screw holding module to the stand and loosen the large silver screw closer to your project you can flip project over without it dropping so low in your lap.

Hi, yes I did. :) At the time of filming to video i wasn't as familiar the the Q snap component, but it's pretty much what i use now! It took some playing around with, but I'm fully happy with it now xx
