I know, I am so lucky to have a Dad who can turn his hand to just abut anything. He's renovated two houses before for me, he's a great gardener and fantastic artist and now it seems he's a master of cross stitch stands! :)

Hi, What a fantastic video, I really mean that!! Like you I purchased the whole package same as you but in black, actually not the magnifier. But couldn't find a video on how to build the stand, any reviews on the stand that were in English. Thoroughly enjoyed watching them. I agree about the light. I found the actual light wasn't bright enough, but when I attached he light to the attachment on frame and tried to angle the light, I just found the arm kept flowing downwards, wouldn't stay when I positioned it, out the way of my head, but angled where I was working. I tightened he screw to stop arm flopping, but sadly gave up on it. It's still attached to frame, but ended up buying a clip on lamp from B&Q, £10. And is the Best Buy ever, can replace bulbs easy, chicks out loads of love then, can choose brightness of bulbs, and has a stick to pull and angle the head of light to where you want. I'm thrilled with it. I've just bought a daylight clip on black magnifier from sew ad so. So I'm all set. Shame about light. I've tried to find you on Instagram ( janereevo194) as loved seeing your work on your videos, been watching one after he other. I'm subscribed now. Think you videos on the stand are the only ones out there's English, in here will be loads of us stitchers that will really appreciate them. Happy stitching.

Your stand looks fantastic! That magnifier that came with it looks like a really good one, although it doesn't look like it has a cover of any kind. Please be VERY careful to put some kind of a cover over it when you are not stitching. Magnifiers can start a fire (from the magnified sunlight) SO easily. Please I don't want to see anything bad happen to your home.

Loved the video. I was put off from ordering the stand in the past, when I bought my quantum frames, because it looked so complicated to assemble but you made it look as if I might be able to put it together after all. Look forward to seeing it in use, as I have never seen anyone actually stitching on one and if it reaches to a comfortable position.

Libbeth Dougherty Hi Libbeth, thanks for commenting. The stand was so simple to put together and it is working out very well. I've been using it for the last two weeks as I wanted to give it a good length of time before uploading a review....so far I'm loving it :) xx

I have been considering buying a bigger frame and this is very interesting. If your review with a large frame is 28 - 30 inches and you like it - it might just help me decide. Thank you for sharing this.

Hello, I am currently stitching HAEDs Train Of Dreams on the 90 cm Quantum frame which is just over 35 inches in length on the Monstrik stand without a single issue. This is the frame size that I will use in my final review and I will post this next week as soon as I get chance to film it. The stand is strong and very sturdy, I have been using it for over 6 weeks now as I really wanted to give the stand a robust final review. I have used the modules for connecting both the scroll frames and the q snap frames and both are excellent. I hope this helps you on your quest to find the perfect stand 😊

Hi Lisa! Hope you are well! Have to say you are looking amazing with your fitness and weight loss journey (You can really see the difference from this video to your recent ones so well done you) I have just been watching your unboxing of the Omanik stand and curious about how you got on with using it? I don't think I have seen an videos where you are using it in your stitch with me videos so I thought I would find out what your experience of this stand was in the end - and to find out what you are using now if it is not this stand?

Hi Teresa, I know I have such chubby chops in the earlier uploads! I do use the stand sometimes, but it’s so big and bulky it gets in the way as I don’t have a designated stitching spot. It’s interesting because I was watching your upload recently on the little table stand and thinking how we seem to be evolving an a similar way, looking for something that can be moved and tidied easily. I tend to use my needle needs stand more for the HAEDs (i picked it up cheap that the Scottish stitching retreat from Glenda) and then my Elbesse lap frame for all of the others. Xx

Great video Lisa! I know Anton is trying to get organized to have a professional video instruction filmed but he is so busy he just don't have the time right now! If you don't mind I will link your video to him, and he can share it on his fb page if you would like that. Have you seen my video from when I visited the factory in August?

Hello, I would be delighted if you would post my video on Anton's FB page. I am planning to upload a review video over the next week to discuss my thoughts on the stand and frames also. I didn't see the video you mentioned but I have just watched it and it was so lovely to see Anton and his Dad. I did watch your Quantum frame video in the summer and it was your video that set me off on buying the frames earlier this year and which then lead me to find my amazing stand. So thank you x

I am glad my video helped you in your decision process. I had a blast in Tallin, they are truly great people and hard hard workers. I have forwarded the link for your video to Anton I bet he will have it linked soon :-)

I’m waiting MONTHS to order one of these stands. Always always out of stock. It’s so irritating. I know they had to move factory but the wait has been crazy.
