Morning, thank you, it was a wonderful gift. I really love using it and it has made my stitching faster. The wooden ones seem to move and creek when you do not want them too. What projects are you working on?

I found you by accident, which is great for me!!! I've been looking for a corner clamp. My lawery has a bit more with it. I'm finding out now was a great deal. Looking forward to watching u !!! I love ur setup. I have 3 babies n they think everything is theirs!! Lol

Great, glad you liked the video. I am still in love with my stand. I am also thinking of getting the corner clamp or the extender bars for my big stitching shelf project. For all my other projects I don't need it. Its just that project needs a big frame. I love to chat in the comments and find out what people are stitching. What are you working on at the moment?

Thanks for the review, you've totally changed my opinion of Lowry stands, I always thought they'd be intrusive but I was wrong! Looking forward to seeing your finish and your birthday start 🙂 x

Morning, I am really enjoying using it. Birthday start will be great. The fabric has just arrived and it is huge. I had a moment of doubt about my choice of fabric as it will be super large, but it will be fine.

@@sewleileibelles it’s been delivered and I LOVE it. I’ve tried some cheaper stands but just didn’t like them, I could never get comfortable and it didn’t feel intuitive, the lowery is a dream in comparison

Excellent review. I just stumbled on your channel. I am very new to cross stitch, just starting on a relatively simple pattern on 14 count Aida to see if I like it and can hack it with my old, arthritic fingers. I'm also greatly enjoying Flosstubes such as yours. Seems like a lovely community. Just ordered a wooden lap stand, but you may have tempted me to a Lowery in the future. Being in the U.S. it's a bit pricier, but still quite reasonable. Thanks for the nudge.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cross stitch. I hope you enjoy it. I find it relaxing and really enjoy the process of stitching. The stitching community are lovely. It great yo chat with people all over the world. I started with a wooden stand and they are a great help especially learning two hand stitching. In my first flosstube I have some of my 14 count aida projects. The sound is not too good in that video. Happy stitching.

Great video! I'm in the US and purchased mine from LoveCrafts website here in the US. About $149.00 minus a sizeable discount for my first purchase plus free shipping. This is way cheaper than Amazon (in the US). Get the quality tools for your craft, like this stand, and you will be pleased!

There are lots of cross stitch gadgets and accessories. Have I tempted you yet to try :-) I hope to upload a garment sewing video soon. I have struggles with the filming, but I have finished my cardigans. I am hoping to get full swing back into sewing soon.

I love them all & it's always hard to pick which one to stitch on!!!

Hi, I am afraid not. The light I use is great but I clip it on my tablet. Which is not the best as it sometimes gets in the way. On Marie's cross stitch site they have lamps with magnifiers that they say are good for this stand but I think you would need to buy the add on piece from lowery for it to work.

I think you and I would get along really well. Tea must always be had, cross stitch nerd, I too love to grow fruits and veggies (although I’d love the space for a greenhouse) and I have a significant birthday (4 oh) coming up! Did you put anything under the base to protect your floor from scratching?

Thank you for your lovely comment. My greenhouse is looking very neglected at the moment. I hope you have a lovely birthday 🎂. I used the felt sticky pads you get with new furniture. Or you can buy them from IKEA. They keep it off our wood, well fake wood floor.
