After you train a lot, your movements come out naturally, almost without you thinking. Some people do not understand this concept because they think it is something they will learn from somebody else, but in fact, you perceive and achieve this feeling.
In today's Kung Fu Report, we will discuss how you can train aiming to insert this flow concept into your Martial Arts.

Great video. I have found that a single literal interpretation of a technique is often the beginner level. After a while, you realise the "idea " can be used as you like. Then you are somewhat free, and "it" comes out. Then you have to teach "it", and the cycle starts again.

A lot of MMA guys today talk trash about TMA, but they don't stop to think about where most MMA techniques come from. Many TMAs trained with pressure testing can work just fine in real scuffles. A lot of techniques are shared by different MAs, maybe with slightly differences. Some may use similar technique for different application.

Second camera is a really nice addition. The color balance for the off angle shot is a bit stark though.

Mr Chan I can honestly say you have helped me learn my hakka fist very much. Mr Chan has just explained how I got into Chuka. I did it by accident after learning why I lost to a wing chun player when I used Shaolin and Choy Li Fut which I showed in one of my videos on my channel. I had no idea it was hakka fist principles hitting the arm, trapping and sticking to a person. To me it just seemed the safest thing to do against a person who was faster and more direct. Thank you sir

I really enjoy watching your videos. What I see you talking about is being a mature martial artist. The things I trained the most and longest are seven star mantis and xingyi. But I've also trained tai chi, bagua, and some Filipino arts. But doing 2 man stuff anything might come out depending on your opponents pressure.

I really love the statements presented in this video because I have been living them through most of my life or at least trying to. Adams videos are usually consistent confirmations of things I have learned, practiced and lived for over fifty years. It hasn't been easy sharing these concepts even now I still run into conflicts with people who I consider friends. It is really gratifying to watch your videos!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

This is what Ueshiba (Founder of Aikido) call Takasumu Aiki. The top level of Aikido/ Budo, where you go beyond techniques and it becomes intuitive. There is no more conscious thought. Techniques are born/ created out of the moment.

Sifu Chan, Thanks for sharing your martial art knowledge & insight relating it to life also, the yin/yang of it. I’m inspired by the connection. I think it’s a Taoist, Buddhist or Spiritual thing, not separate but in union, my 2 cents😁

Adam sometimes we use the double punch going from low level to a high level or reverse just to land them as strikes. I can attest that they can deliver a person of relative size to the striker over top an S10 pick up truck. Does the S10 reference age me?

You know its pretty hard to flow with some gongfu styles if you dont have the nei gong. Do you have any nei gong or martial qi gong? And what are your thoughts and opinions on it?

From prior videos it looks like Zhan Zhuang (post standing) from Yiquan and Tian Shan Hei Gong from Fook Yeung as passed down by Steve Smith. It’s possible he did Hebei Xingyquan San Ti standing and Bagua circle walking. I believe he also studied Tai Chi but its unclear to me how much of the internal work he’s done. There’s probably other material as well. I haven’t seen all of his videos and I’ve never spoken to Adam or any of his students re. their neigong training.

Human beings (as a rule) have two arms and two legs and limited range of movement and limited additional intrinsic weapons (like head etc). The techniques used are limited by style if a chosen style does not use certain techniques/ weapons eg Judo/ Aikido uses no punches or kicks. Some styles limit the types of applications/ intrinsic weapons but that doesn't mean the person needs to limit themselves. Style just gives a method to use the various techniques/ applications etc. Open mind - open heart - Open to learn from anyone.

You are too young to understand the progression in actual application. It looks easy when you explain in words, but if you don't explain people won't understand what's going on. It requires a very high level of mind and body coordination to reach this stage. You look too young to have mastered all this. Eeeeeeexcellent!! Sincere Respects to your Masters!! 🙏🙏

Kung Fu looks really pretty but it just does not work for fighting. How many masters have to get the hell beat out of them by a boxer or Muay Thai fighter or MMA fighter before people understand that it's not a combat sport, it is more of a dance. I will say that in futall times when they fought with weapons, Kung Fu was very useful because they are good with weapons.
