Miss Kay is bang on with contentment. That’s one thing I don’t understand with people who think more is better, bigger is better. True happiness and contentment can only be found through Jesus Christ.

@jason I'm 64. I have some savings, my house is paid for. We are a middle class couple. I've known Chist for 45 years. We have been content since our wedding vows. The Robertsons live a similar life. Knowing Christ doesn't guarantee contentment. Living for Him and putting Him first will.

I was raised poor enough and rural enough where my grandparents still had outhouse and a combustionier coal stove. And this was in the 80’s.

Something like 2/3 European homes had an outhouse... in the year 2000. Just tell people that you grew up Europoor!

Phil is a great role model as he really is content with his life...still fishing and hunting, but also living for Jesus to share His life changing Word with others. Love the whole Roberson family. They are not your normal rich folks.

I started watching the show after seeing Phil's podcast "Unashamed". His main complaint was that they really did cut almost all of the Jesus stuff out, but I noticed the Hollywood folks weren't able to remove it from them altogether. Aside from the prayer at the end, you see Him in these people and their families on the show, which makes me appreciate it enough to watch.

"Born again" is the key words of genuine and sincere possessing of a believing faith of Christian salvation that Jesus offers lovingly through His blood. Jesus is knocking at the door of your soul calling out please let me in. Phil has the correct perspective and words of God's plan of redemption and our form of reasonable worship is not limited to church.

I can so relate to these two beautiful souls! Miss Kay and I have the same outlook on having a family and my husband is the pre-transformed Phil. Please pray that my husband will turn his life over to Christ. He’s in such darkness right now and needs the Lord. Please pray for his soul and that our family will be healed and restored. Growing up my family didn't have alot and whlie I wouldn't want to go back to just barely having enough money to get by. I will say it taught me how to relay on the Lord for everything. And how to trust That He has a plan . and it also made me humble, and thankful for little things like having food on the table.

My 3rd year anniversary is tomorrow and trying to find things to do last minute since we were both too busy to really plan and too poor to let someone else plan what to do I searched for movies playing. Came across the movie trailer then decided to KZfaq them and got this! The word Contentment has been coming up so much for me today and Ms Kay mentioned contentment ! So guess what , I'm gonna be content tomorrow and be at peace and not stress about anything. Thanks for sharing this focus on the family ❤ love you guys !!
