Footprints in bl**d - did I leave them?
The day after my trial, juror Jake Bibb gave a newspaper interview in which he said, "If it had not been for that (sock) print, I would have found him innocent." In this video, I address that crucial piece of evidence, the sock print - and also the shoe prints, which are actually more important, but are almost always overlooked.

Dear Jens, In my heart you are exonerated…Live and be well. I get it that you want your name cleared. I would too.

It might seem strange, but I always get a *feeling* about what’s true when I watch true crime shows. I *knew* that you were innocent. I’m so happy that you’re finally free.

Your confession isn't 'entirely accurate'. That doesn't mean it 'cannot be true'. It contains clear flaws. But I think it's proven over and over that our memory is flawed so pretty much all confessions, honest or made up, contain mistakes so to say. The problem with your confession is that it contains details only the killer (or someone at the crimescene) could know. Normally this is taken to mean you're the killer (or you've been at the crimescene). Unless of course, you talked to someone that was there (or seen pictures) and got the details from their retelling off the events. And this last bit is what you claim. Seems to me it's a valid argument to discredit the confession or at least cast reasonable doubt on it. Only the part where you said 'our trip', or something, still is suspicious but the rest of the story, could have been learned by heart by you to make it seem as credible as possible. Because this was your actual purpose, convince the police that you and not your girlfriend did the killing. An alibi would have helped you out. Why isn't there anybody that could place you away from the crimescene. If you ordered room service and went to the movie... Seems there should be people that know if you or your girlfriend did this...

True. But there isn't even ONE single piece of forensic evidence to corroborate my confession.

@@jens_soering yes, except the 'not very scientific' foot/sock print, that did the job of nailing you there, back then. Unfortunately for you.
