Podcast is Called : ASN Humans Are Space Orcs , HFY and other stories
--------------
This Story is Classified as HFY or Humanity Feck, Yea , but what does the Mean?
-------------
HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.
-------------
Taken from the FAQ of the r/HFY subreddit.
Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

@leightondoswell453 It's not the destination that makes me cry. It is the journey it is the hardships in between. The beautiful sunset Against the freezing cold of the moon That makes me cry., it is the crashing waves in the storm against the calm sea that makes me cry. It isn't the peace between countries. It's the war that happened before that makes me cry. Lest we forget the moments between beauty. Lest we forget the moment we cry. For when we reach the end of the road, we will smile With joy, as we look toward left and right at the Friends we've made along the way. And as we look back to those, we may have lost. Lest we forget.

There are three deaths: the first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave. The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your name is spoken for the last time. Excerpt from Sum - David Eagleman To be remembered is the only way a person could truly be Immortal. Excellent story, amazing read.

Well at the very least it ended a fratricidal war. That alone is a worthy event. Plus, I think they'd be too frightened of the crazy humans to do that. Considering how much more our tech was than theirs and that its tech from a 1000 years prior to the story, they have to know they have no chance.

7/10 you should look up the title of this story 2:50 I remember this story now 13:30 good question. Why? What did we do? 20:05 20:20 O7 31:05 I see "For the Fallen" is a poem written by Laurence Binyon. It was first published in The Times in September 1914. It was also published in Binyon's book "The Winnowing Fan : Poems On The Great War" by Elkin Mathews, London, 1914. A moving tribute to the fallen soldiers in World War I, written by Laurence Binyon in 1914. The poem expresses the grief, pride and remembrance of the mothers, the nation and the immortal spirits of the dead. Even without that context, this earns its rating out of pure respect.
