Hi smash my philipno friend Karen told me her mum cuts and marinades abalone in soy sauce, honey small amount of spring onion and pepper over night then frys them up in a stir fry with thinly slices carots, onions and chillies over rice noodles or vermicelli, works on any noodles tok even instant ramen. My karma friend's buddy's here in B.C 🇨🇦. Go out to Vancouver Island & foraging for them as well. Diceing them up & pickering them for 2 days, with red cabbage , onion & spice mixture 😋

hoping even with the ban of night hunting for ormers, you can still get enough this season to give some away to the older gents at the pub. Always great to see you sharing your haul, giving back to them, that taught the younger guys like you, how to forage for them.

What a great find today. Abalone burgers look good. I am in a land locked state. The freshest fish we get is either flown in or caught frome a pond, a river or Lake Erie. Also the local supermarket. As always great video. Have a safe and Happy New Year.

Foraging is such an amazing past time. I don’t have any salt water near by but I did get a chance on vacation to try. From eating your videos for a couple of years I learned so much I was showing others with my on vacation what to do and we had a blast. We read local regulations and testing locations for safety then had a feast of clams. I can’t wait for the day I can try an Ormer sandwich.

Great forage Jay that shell would look great on my dad's memorial bench. I've put the cleaned shell of a brown crab also have scallop shells and razor shells as he loved fishing and foraging himself
