That deck was bananas. “I’ll saddle my Terror of the Peaks with Calamity and attack. That creates 2 Terror of the peaks tokens. All the Terrors see each other so I get 3 Terror tiggers. They also trigger my Railway Brawler so they’re all 10/9s and that’s 30 damage targeting you. I also draw a card with my Bonnie Pall, Clearcutter.” Lol.

That deck is all I seem to run into now - - regardless of colors, I run into ridiculous bombs tribal while I have bad draws and flood. Ugh. I enjoy the set and the cards, play boosters, even a bit of drafting. But I can't really draft it much because of games like that. I get high rolled to hell. 😂

I can feel his pain. Somehow most of my opponents have dust animus plotted on turn 2 on the play, and roxanne and bruce in the same deck because why not and I'm drawing 6 lands in row 🤣

Voracious Vermin is the type of card that really underperforms when you put in your deck, but somehow your opponents always have it when its absolutely devastating

It's been quite good for me. It's a rare game where the opponent doesn't at least have some kind of target in their deck, and if they don't have any in play, it's still a 2/2 Vigilance for 2, wich is just fine.

Favorite part of the format is when nummy feels comfortable and goes wild with 5 color. The cornucopia feels like the Kami War of this format.

I feel your pain about the Bonny Pall, I also seem to run into at least one deck playing that card every single draft I do. This last deck was even wilder though, not something you see every day!

That third deck is why I absolutely hate this format. You draft a decent 2-3 color deck, get mana screwed one game, lose another to on the play aggro/5 removal spells in a row in the next, win the only game that you actually made choices in, and then get dumpstered by 3-4 bombs in the last to go 1/3.
