The part number for the 2018on separator is HX7G-6C757-AA. I cannot find a spare anywhere, so it is important to look after this part (and anyway, not doing so could wreck your engine). These oil separators and PCV valves are near the top of any Ford Ecoboost common problems list.
A Ford Ecoboost oil catch can is the ultimate solution. Various companies sell solutions specifically for the Ford Ecoboost.

@@troy3456789 I agree. Most servicing is quite easy - think about it, at a garage it gets serviced by some Nobby NoLevels drop out on minimum wage.

You mention an oil catch can would be best. Would that be in addition to the PCV valve or just eliminating it. I was contemplating doing this on my vehicle which has a 1.3L multiject diesel engine made by GM. This PCV valve/oil separator always has given me trouble. Either broken hose, a lot of blow by and oil in my intake, loading the oil into the turbo, intercooler, throttle body. Which is really annoying. Car only has 140,000 km and I have always maintained it well with 10k oil changes(even though 30k is recommended). So I was wondering if I can just get rid of that PCV valve oil separator and install an oil catch can in its place.

I guess the 2015 Ecoboost 1.0 doesn't have this feature yet. I can't find it under the hood, and it doesn't exist in the official part catalog.

I would be careful with brake cleaner as some can damage plastic and rubber. Maybe it would be good to leave it to soak in some cleaning liquid over the night if you don't need the car all the time?

It's acetone that does that, so use acetone free cleaner - which most is these days 👍

Ford make no recommendations (they want your car to die so you buy a new one). I suggest every other oil change (so annually then)

Thanks for the reply . It turned out after a closer look it was actually intact a failing turbo 😔 ! Which gave out all the symptoms of a dodgy pcv
