My 1996 Ranger lifted 4.5” on 33” BFG KM3 Tires. Plan to build it into a bad prerunner in the near future!

Nice truck!. I just got a ‘97. These are great little trucks🇺🇸

Just beyond the battery there should be a small box with 2 air lines going in. Check the hoses etc. That's why mine would go on and off until the hose fell off and the CE light stayed on. Box should be fine but those hoses need to be in good shape. Hope this helps and the truck looks great.

I thought the same. Then I got one of these bad boys. They are surprisingly good off road for a 2WD. Perhaps it has more to do with driver skill, but my buddy gets stuck in his 4x4 bronco more often than I do on the same trails.

Gamma from what I’ve heard, ford ranger 4x4’s are annoying as fuck to deal with. Most of the time they are hard to get in and out of gear, and often times need to be rebuilt. Better to just get a jeep, or get the 2wd ranger and build it up like a pre runner

I have a 2 in leveling kit with 235 75r 15s on it now so was just curious about the brake lines being too short after the lift. U have a very nice looking truck. I wish mine had a regular bed on it like yours. I Don’t like flare side like mine is now. The stance of ur truck is ideal for how I want mine to look. Building a front bumper similar to yours in a couple weeks or so. Do you still have your truck. One day I’m gonna stick prerunner suspension under is and hit the desert. With full cage everything. Gonna be awhile but I’ll make it there. Lol

No they will catch the bumper and the back of the fenders trust me I know from experience. Had to sawzall 3 inches off the bumper and a good 1 inch halfway down the back of the fender.
