1985 f350 6.9L Fuel turned all the way up!
Send me your injection pump and $65 and I'll send it back to you fully tuned for either the 6.9 IDI liter international or the 7.3 IDI liter non turboed International Motor. There are three stages of tuning I can do. Moderate tune ( upon heavy acceleration expect medium to moderate amount of black smoke) extreme tune ( under heavy acceleration expect an excessive amount of black smoke) and then of course the you will be arrested tune ( under medium acceleration expect excessive amount of black smoke and under heavy acceleration expect to go to jail because you just caused a 10 car pile up due to blacking out a 5 lane highway) not recommended for the weak of heart. This process involves removing the fuel restrictor plate entirely from the high pressure injection pump. In this video I have my truck set on a extreme tune.

I don't currently have a piro installed on my exhaust. I put my truck on the Dino we got at work and use the heat gun to read the temperature of the exhaust under WOT under a 20000 pound load it reached 1,460°f after a quarter mile run if it was over 1,800°f I would be concerned and that was with the fuel screw turned all the way in which is approximately two and a half turn from stock granite this is a naturally aspirated diesel with roughly 21.5 to 1 compression. the only a problem I've run into is the cops pulled me over for blacking out the highway!

What state do u live in? If u take it back to stock fuel & just run the truck on engine oil it’ll get nice, & black/smoky too. If u get on the highway at about over 80 w 3.55s on engine oil as fuel in the tank it’ll just choooch. My injectors are stock at 220k. Almost replaced em, but needed the cash/I bought em, & had to return em. A 7.3 PSD will smoke like a freight train w 50% oil. 100% on a PSD & the injectors won’t be happy. They do like on the other hand like 25% oil in the tank. Extra power, boosts the cetane ratings back to pre-2006 w high sulfur diesel than the current ultra low sulfur diesel.

I know guys that do all the way, & just don’t floor it on hills. If u wonna do it right get a T4 camshaft installed in the engine cuz ford de-tuned the idi’s to me emission standards w a smaller cam. If u swap for a stock cam from IH you’ll boost ur power by 20hp, & gain efficiency.
