6 ай бұрынJoin us this week as we tear into the engine bay of the Ford Transit Custom RS Edition Custom. Fixing issues with Glow Plug problems on Cylinder 1 and 3.
So for this video we deal with glow plug replacement on all 4 cylinders of the Ford Transit Custom 2.2 engine
Now as all of you know in no way, shape or form am i a mechanic. Whilst It's not a job for the faint of heart but can easily be done on your driveway with very little knowledge.
In total this job took me around 3 hours and half that time was hunting for bolts.
Glow plugs set me back £46.00 from GSF car parts so its well worth it,

Did your transit went in emergency run because of those old/broken spark plugs?

Do you mean go into limp mode? If so no it didn't no lights on the dash just a bit of a pain to start when cold. Only got codes when plugged in. Apart from that it ran fine
