Good morning Rebecca 🦋 The IDYL Ono earring is so flattering and love that you can wear it a few ways. It's nice to see lab grown diamonds finally having their day. I'm of a certain age where I've collected/been gifted a fair amount of jewelry and own real diamonds - I've been dabbling in lab grown and 100% you cannot tell the difference (unless you take it to a professional). If I went back in time and was getting engaged again, I'd opt for lab grown (I could get the size of stone I really want for a fraction of the price and truthfully would be as happy or more). Ok, on to foundations - the GUCCI has my interest now, thank you.

Also…and this is just between you and me… so many of my LE velvet lipstick bullets have broken in the tube. It’s definitely a product flaw in the formula, and they don’t fix it. Why does everyone just gloss over that and give the brand a pass? I do think people love Lisa the person so much-and she is an absolute gem-that they aren’t as objective about her products as they normally would be with other brands. 😬

There is something about her that is absolutely untouchable and I’m not sure what it is but it’s an interesting quality. The bullets are shrinking inside the tube so when you go to open them, after they’ve been sitting, they fall off

OMG, look at you elegantly dripping in diamonds💎💎💎💎💎 I recently lost the diamond in my engagement ring after over 20 years😢 I was so bummed and even thought about not replacing it since I still have my wedding band. I went our jeweler and I was asked if I wanted natural or lab grown and I was like, no preference but what’s the difference. He did such a great job educating me and I went with lab grown pear to replace my natural 2.5 carat round diamond. I’m not a huge diamond person and have mostly only worn my modest wedding set on my hands. Well since I was moving up and the cost made it easy to do so, I went with a 5.25 carat at higher clarity and better color than my original. It is quite stunning and very large. I love it!! Not that it was cheap but if I lost this stone, I’m not going to be broken up like I was with my original ring. Your description of the SuperGoop tint made me laugh so hard😂 I knew it was too good to be true when I saw the release. Now I love TF foundation but I’m still miffed about the discontinuation of the stick foundation!

First of all, your ring is almost… Almost… As pretty as you are! It’s just stunning. And I feel so stupid for not knowing about this kind of diamond revolution going on. I feel like I’m so excited now I just constantly am shopping on their website. Darn Supergoop. If I never see it again it’ll be too soon!! And my question about the Tom Ford stick foundation is… Is it really discontinued? As other times I see full stock of it being sold

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Thank you Rebecca! I’m glad I discovered this lab grown revolution. It’s a huge cost savings and why should earth. one diamonds be something that only a certain segment of society can afford? I can’t remember the numbers from the old De Beers ads about how many months of one’s salary go into a diamond engagement ring. Talk about pressure!! I never thought about upgrading my engagement ring, so I guess if someone wanted to upgrade their ring later, the lab grown market doesn’t have the same trade in value, at least right now anyway. I’m very happy with our purchase and since it’s like a new baby, I’m super gentle and careful with it for now. I really want to like SuperGoop, but their products are just ok to me. I like their unseen spf but that is pretty much it and even that at times I am iffy some days because of the texture and my preference for a mineral SPF. It’s great under makeup and absorbs quickly so that’s good. I just don’t know what is going on with TF. I hope that foundation isn’t discontinued because it is amazing! Like you, I continue to see it other retailers at full price, so who knows.

If it was 3 months in years past, it’s probably a year’s salary now🤣🤣 I did a lot of research and had a great jeweler to work with and I love my new ring. I’d definitely recommend lab created diamonds to anyone who inquires.I think there is a huge pressure on the person purchasing the diamond to get the best diamond possible, but who needs to go into debt for that? I think the biggest drawback is resale value. While I’ve never looked at resale value or upgrading my ring until now, if someone wants to upgrade their ring, the resale value of lab created is debatable. Not suggest that earth born diamonds appreciate much more but there is value there. My thing with the cost of the lab grown, even if I wanted to upgrade my lab grown, the prices are so reasonable that I wouldn’t be concerned with resale values. I’m eager to hear what you find out about TF. I know the sale to Estée Lauder completed last year and it included intellectual property too, BUT acquiring the valuable rights (roadmap) to the brand doesn’t mean Estée Lauder will use it when developing TF products without TF team. Sadly, I don’t see EL spending the time recreating his brand products with the same care and quality associated with TF, but we shall see. If they don’t, then their acquisition of TF will yet another waste and destruction of a highly successful brand that just faltered under Estée Lauder leadership.

@@traciewarren1070 You know what I've found? The resale value on real diamonds is no good anyway.Why? I have a stone that was my paternal grandmothers in my bank's safe. It's a large one and worth quite a bit. I wouldn't sell it, of course, but if I did, I would get like 50% of what it's worth because the jeweler needs to price it and make something too. So there ends up being quite a few hands in the pie, you know? You make money but not ever what it's worth so what is the point? You know?

Great video! Boy do I ever agree with your assessment of the Lisa Eldridge tint. The first thing I noticed was the smell. I know I can be hyper sensitive but I hate it. Plus, it never fades. Then, you hit it on the head by liking it to: THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES!😂❤️

The Loubiton foundation is the best in 100+ degree heat. We teetered at 95 with a 101 heat index and it did well.

I love, love, love the red lip on you! Very chic and sophisticated!! 💄💁🏻♀️ You deserve to be dripping in diamonds!! 💎💎💎💎 Lab grown diamonds are the absolute way to go from now on for me. It’s more cost effective, but to me more importantly it’s an ethical way to enjoy them! My son is newly engaged and he and his fiancé chose to go with a lab grown diamond for ethical reasons. Her ring is stunning! I’m definitely going to check out IDYL! I love the modular designs! It’s so fun and versatile!! It means to me that I will wear them more-which is what I want to do with my beautiful things instead of saving them for a “special occasion”. Now that I’m older, that’s my philosophy!! I had no idea so many foundations have been released in 2024 so far! I’m just sitting here happy as a clam with my Prada! It just works for me, I can build it up when I need to and sheer it out for a very light coverage (like a half a pump for my whole face). Thank goodness! I can’t even believe you deigned to hold that Supergoop in your hand! It needs to be buried in the back yard or passed on to an enemy! (But of course you are too lovely to have any enemies!)

I looooove that Ilia foundation stick. It really exceeded my expectations. I've been doing a lot of travelling lately and it's been so useful for bringing with me! Also got a perfect shade match. Sometimes I put on the Lisa Eldridge skin tint (I know you dislike it and that's totally fair!!) and I use the Ilia stick over it to add more coverage to my cheeks and they work well together for a lighter look!

For summer on east cost I'm going with tinted sunscreens. I love the kosas dream beam and color technology tinted sunscreens they have a glow and reg tinted. They are dewy without being sticky and the have a glow and look like light foundation. Perfect for summer

That’s too funny and very accurate. Yes. When I find people who are frustrated and have tried every brand at Sephora, my advice is always just, “just go to Chanel. Go to the Chanel counter. Go to the Chanel store and just do that.“

You made me chuckle....the LE tint is ok....but I MUCH prefer her 1st foundation....it's not one that I think will be a repurchase (if I ever finish it!).....I need another foundation like I need a hole in the head but will that stop me??? NEVER! Lol

I haven't tried a new foundation this year but I'm interested in the Urban decay face bond. We now know ND is releasing a powder foundation which I'm interested in and she will have a liquid foundation soon so you know I'm trying that 😊

I really love the CL because of the coverage. But the Tom Ford reformulation is my new favorite, along with the Cle De Peau in the pot and the Chanel Sublimage! I haven’t picked up the Guerlain and I’m going to pass. I’ve had their foundation in the past and they were nice, but not my favorites! The D & G is on its way to me and I picked it up in a good color for summer.

I ADORE the Louboutin foundation. I am in the UK. It does not budge. Guerlain broke up something horrible on me and was bright yellow in undertone. Gucci exactly the same too

Luckily the LE tint isn’t dewy on me - I wouldn’t like that for sure - it is a different kind of formula I’ve never experienced though - it doesn’t seem to cover at first, but it does somehow cover after a moment of sitting - something to get it to cover like a regular formula would probably lead to too much product - but truly lightly - I do use about 4-5 drops though, not 2, lol - also it sets kind of powdery - I touch my face and it’s powdery, silky - that feeling doesn’t happen right away - I’m usually not fond of feeling powdery all over (Ahhh, maybe I should have gotten the Chanel tint 😅)- it doesn’t look powdery though and looks fantastic on me - but I’m probably on the extreme side of preferring very light/sheer foundations - I do wish KZfaqrs talked about how really different the skin tint felt and behaved on the skin - it is unique and not everyone might like that - took me about 3 weeks of testing, so not easy to know right away, so KZfaqrs might not be able to tell either with first looks - though LE probably knows 😮😊- seems like so many brands are coming out with so many textures and formulas - it’s cool and fun, but hard to figure out and tune in to preferences

That is so interesting. When I put it on my skin, it feels like I put on a ton of moisturizer even only using about three or four drops. And the feeling doesn’t go away all day. And then after I wash my face it’s still there. I described it when I reviewed the product or maybe in a video following the way clothing feels when you use a lot of dryer sheets and they have that film on them. Definitely not my cup of tea but people absolutely love it. So I absolutely love having this discussion in the comment section. And hopefully others will weigh in.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes, I do remember you going back to describe this feeling after you used it for a while - that’s soooo helpful! And I love to read comments when people describe in detail why they like or dislike a product - oh that helps so much for me! Really, texture is everything to me Yes, it is *different* feeling - I would agree to the “dryer sheet”/a sort of film on skin analogy … which feels kind of moisturizing for me, and keeps it in place (I live in humid weather) - but it’s different than just moisturizing, so I can really imagine it not working for everyone - it is kind of like her regular foundation, but lighter feeling and coverage, which works better for me - I couldn’t really handle the full foundation - I mean, I only had samples, but I couldn’t get the color match and it felt heavy - I did like the feeling, smoothness, coverage, slip… but it *felt* too heavy and stuck to dry spots on me - this tint is similar though, but doesn’t stick to dry spots and glosses over those - I think LE has done something different here, but *different* can be weird and not work for everyone - I’d suggest people really test it out every day so they can send it back if they don’t like it - her customer service is great at least - well in America this is easy return, that’s all I know

So, I was trying to decide between the By Terry and Burberry (their old glow foundation was a favorite). I think you would pick the By Terry over the Burberry. My holy grail was the old Tom Ford Traceless, again the glowing one nothing, matte. I didn't know about the Gucci, thinking about trying that one or the Dolce Gabanna. I need a little more coverage, around same age as you with dry to normal skin. I am looking for one with a little more coverage when out at work/meetings and an everyday looks great and go. I too wasn't impressed with the Lisa Eldridge. Thoughts?

I was unimpressed with either the Liza Eldredge foundation or the skin tint. I love this by terry. But it’s very light coverage. The other one I’m really loving right now is the new Fenty believe it or not.

I’m so glad you did this… of course TF is beautiful ( you look great, especially in your diamonds) but Louboutin might be good fit except the color ranges really tough to figure out. I think the color 20Nyou chose too light but then no Neutral tone until you go much deeper 🙁 so maybe 25C idk. I’m glad you liked the D&G because those products looked very interesting, may venture there. I didn’t see UD, must have been under a rock 🪨 but that interesting too. Looked briefly at shade situation and again, I looked for light medium neutral, but in an olive tone, not neutral. WTF? Always seems to be issue. I think the medium neutral looks a bit dark. Not sure what your choice was. The Gucci as with many of their products appeal to me but not sure I’m into cushion foundations. I know many people love them but I guess I kinda of feel like “too dewy” for me. Especially going into summer, if it ever gets warm here. Now the Ilia stick, I don’t know but I seem to always overlook this brand. Your description sounds like that can work. I felt the same about the other stick, fenty, a bit greasy is probably why I never grab that. Again love the shade choice you made there. WOW, what is it going to be like by end of year. Btw, I went to website for Burberry to see if they had eyeshadows as I remembered you mentioning in past videos like them. No eyeshadows online at all ( weird) but have new highlighter, 3colors, particularly liking the pink ( kinda looked peachy pink) so pretty! Don’t know if I’ll venture, but still thinking about since the other day🫣

Dolce Gabbana had that weird eye dare you eyeshadow palette that I didn’t love but all of their other products I absolutely adore. Yes, the Gucci cushion does stay kind of dewy and would need powdering and hot weather. The ilia stick really might be worth checking out honestly honestly

I need your expert opinion, please! If you had very oily skin & lived in a hot humid climate which would be your best bet? I have MOB beauty on the way, I own the MAC but am wondering if I need to try the Louboutin or the Urban Decay? I feel like it's Pokémon and I have to collect them all!😂

OK so let’s discuss. Because this question is a little bit more complicated. If you’re talking humidity or Makeup is going to melt off your face then it would have to be either the urban decay or especially the Louboutin. Also the new Tom Ford but who the heck has money for that. If you don’t mind it being really dewy even in the heat, then it opens up to other selections and skin tints
