I’m coming back to look at the D&G Playful Rosewood on you again! I thought I had similar shades, but I think it’s not as orange as similar shades I have when I saw your comparison with the Haus Labs blush on Instagram. There is more red/brown in it. It’s pretty!!! I always watch your videos all the way through, but today when I came back to look at your cheek application, WOW the time stamps are so helpful! I know it’s got to take a lot of extra time to put them in for us, but you take the time just to be helpful. You are truly the BEST!!

First, I love your style. You put a smile on my face everyday. lol. Even though the foundation is too light on you, I like it. I have really dry skin, invisible pores. So far, the only foundation that’s works for me is the very expensive Chanel one, because the undertones just work on me, plus it’s also like a serum foundation, for dry skin. I would love to try the Burberry, but I need to try in person. I’m about your skin tone, a shade up maybe 2 but neutral leaning warmish. I love the bronzer and blush on you! It appears very smooth, and I like buildable products the most. The bronzer looks great on you, not too light. I find most bronzers pack way too much of a punch, and I do not like to contour with bronzers. I like to use all over like you do. The blush colors are really nice on you, but I’m a Barbie when it comes to blush, lol. I like clear pinks and peaches. Great review as always.

I'm a shade lighter than you and got the D&G bronzer in 4 bc of the undertones.. i hope i don't fall face first (into mudd) taking that chance. It arrives tomorrow as well as the tint in 9C so my video/short will be up on Saturday for anyone in need of a reference

I always think of you now when I apply my foundation! I typically use my hands to smooth it over and then a brush to blend it out. But sometimes depending on the formula, I’ll pat it in afterwards to really melt it in and I always think this feels like a Rebecca move 😂

Rebecca I was really looking forward to seeing this video for D&G. I think I thought you might have done just this line of products because I was wondering how the setting powder and face tint was too. I think I would choose different colors in blush but still appreciate your feedback on the product. The bronzer colors seem warm to me so not sure if I could find a color I want. In terms of other products, Burberry I know you talked highly of the eyeshadows so that might’ve been a product to look for. For the foundation, ehh. Jones Road, bad ordering experience with them so I’d really have to want something to go to them. Can’t wait for foundation round up.

Omg the Dolce & Gabanna Cheeks and Eye Martches are gorgeous (they are so pretty I respectfully call them by their proper name and not blush😅). I see the name and shade Rosewood is having a moment in a few makeup houses. The Burberry looks markedly better after sitting for two hours! “It’s so refillable it will try to refill itself!” Lolololol. That was great. I noticed that too. In fact forever ago I had a video planned where… And you reminding me of it has brought it back into consideration again… Where I planned to look at shade names across different brands. For instance Charlotte Tilbury is not the only one who has named a shade pillow talk. Rosewood is another example and there was something else out there that everyone was giving some odd name to a product and I thought it would be fun to just look at all the different brands doing something called pillow talk or all the different brands doing something called Rosewood.

This D&G pkg is so much prettier IMO than the original line (not that i don't love leopard haha). The devotion line is a bit extra for me ha i love the sleeker look of the compacts. Definitely interested in the blush playful and mauve, i think the peach might be too bright but good to know it doesn't 'stamp'. It looks like its only at Saks and im always concerned about needing to return but how nice that its refillable. It looks like the bronzer could run light? i saw a swatch of shade 1 and it was barely there, allfeisty went with shade 2 and applied lightly i think she said it looked more neutral than the first shade?!

I actually don’t think the light foundation is so light on you. It’s a different look for you, but I like it. But I’m not going to pick it up. I have combination skin and I power my whole face ALWAYS, but it scared me. Also, I still have plenty of the “old” Burberry (which isn’t old) and isn’t my favorite and I just picked up the new Tom Ford foundation - OMG! It is GORGEOUS! A great improvement on the old round one it is replacing. I’m really interested in the D &G products. I got the blush in Mauve and I love it. I’m waiting to see how the bronzer in shade 2 is on you. Is it even a touch orange, b/c even a hint of orange turns me into an Oompa Loompa!

The D&G blush concept is like the same thing as the Valentino “eye to cheek” blushes.. I am wondering how they compare. The Valentino is my absolute favorite, I have 4 shades of that since the Sephora sale. I am wondering how this bronzer would compare to the Hermes bronzer in Atlas. To go to the gym, I have started using my blush, bronzer and highlighters on my eyes, to save time. I like to put the bronzer in the crease and on the outer third of the lid, and I blend the blush into the crease and upwards and out, and the highlighter on the inner 2/3 of the eyelid and the inner corner, and bronzer on the lower lash line. I use the chantecaille sirena bronzer, Valentino blushes, and the new ND hy-gen highlighter in medium for this. I use these same ones on my face as well obviously. It looks really really good.

I bought the Cheerful Pink in the D&G blush. I really love it. On my skin it looks like a pink leaning coral color. I find it’s very pigmented and lasts . But, the rosewood is also really calling my name. The foundation is very pretty on you. Yes, the color is a bit off. I am a light medium, leaning light. I wore 40N. I used to have the matte version. But, was never really happy with it. Eventually I decluttered it. I just purchased the Prada foundation during the Sephora sale. So, I won’t be buying anything new. Thank You for being honest about the Jones Road scent. Yuck! I have heard influencers describe it as “spa like”. I want to know which spas as I want to avoid them. I was gifted with some of the miracle balm. The one day I tried to wear it, I went into a lady’s room and washed it off my face. To me it really smelled horrible and I thought everyone around me could smell it. And, my hair which was shoulder length was sticking all over my face. YOU are the best. I guess you could say it’s spa like. But I think it’s just kind of eucalyptus and you can’t escape the scent and then it gets in your hair since your hair sticks to your face and it’s just no thank you

I’ve still not found a foundation that beats my NARS Light Reflecting I thought I really liked the Prada but it’s kinda flat and finicky with my sunscreen oh well lol I was putting too much skincare under it making it too dewy and fall off my face I’ve adjusted when I wear foundation just my HaruHaru wonder sunscreen… have u tried it ??? it’s just like a moisturizer and vanishes to a perfect satin finish … and it’s on Amazon for $12! It’s not greasy or dewy it’s just like I drank gallons of water and slept a week in a yellow tube 🤣🤣🤣🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 I don’t like powder neither someone said that the setting sprays only set the setting powder 🤦‍♀️

It’s true that when you have a set skin care routine, sometimes adding in a new foundation just upsets the whole system. So I do understand what you mean. A good setting spray should set everything, powder, liquid, even lipstick believe it or not

Eucalyptus and fruit punch? 🤢 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️ Sorry Jones Road! I want vanilla, birthday cake, chocolate, or nothing for my lip scent/taste. I will take the fruity sweet of YSL Candy Glaze…but Eucalyptus…NEWP!!!! I think I’m passing on the D&G powders. They seem nice enough and pretty on the cheek and eyes, but they are nothing I don’t already have. (That light bronzer looked FABULOUS on your eyes!!) And yes!! The lightest YSL bronzer is the only bronzer I’ve ever had that I can haphazardly apply and it’s fun!!! It also looks great on the eyes!)

Ohhhhhhhhh that light YSL was good???? Yay!!!! I remember we debated that one!!!!!!! And, yes, Jones Road has weird fragrances. Kind of like hippie fragrances

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Yes! The lightest YSL is good for me because I am fair/light. I’m absolutely sure the second shade would work great for me, but then it would be like every other bronzer. I really like that I don’t have to be careful to use a light hand with lightest YSL shade. It’s a novel bronzer experience for me! If I ever had days where I enjoyed smelling like a hippie (Spoiler alert: I did not) they are long over now!

@@LisaF_ oh there’s something about a slightly too light bronzer where you could just be on the phone and not looking in the mirror and putting it on. That’s my kind of bronzer. It’s like I either do that or one that’s so dark that I have no business using it
