4-Peaks is always a good time. Back in the early 80's we used to run our dirt bikes up and down front side and camp up at the top. I did Edward Park trail after watching your video, fun trail.

Ironic... Four peaks was next on my list. Haven't done it yet. I've put it off as it will be a very long day for me, if you include getting there and back. Great job Todd. 14:45 great shot! Best one of the video

Thanks that was a good setup shot. It was so windy the entire day that all my audio was wind noise so that is why there is music on almost the entire video. Need to find a better solution.

Thank you for the drive and narration! I have spent some time in that area. At about 6 minutes into the video you came to an asphalt was crossing. I believe that just across the road to the east there is the remains of a red brick fireplace...You stopped at another spot near that cattleman's camper. That is also where FR 143-A leads down to the site of the old Cline's cabin. (no longer there). I had encountered cattle down there. It is also the site of the southern terminus of the Ballantine Trail, 11.50 miles to connect with US 87. Later on in your video you reach FR422. That is part of the Arizona Trail. Also, about 5.5 miles up the road There is an obscure Trail #80 Connector Trail that reaches the Ballantine Trail. It has been on the bucket list for me. One day I hope to find and follow the rest of the Ballantine Trail north and south. FR143 (EL Oso Road) is truly filled with adventure. Thank you for sharing your adventure. You chose a good road to break-in your new jeep. I drive a 2008 Jeep Liberty.

You have that one down to the detail! It is just awesome out there. No matter how many times I run that trail it is just fun and I find new things to see. Glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with the hiking. While I haven’t been on the Ballantine trail I heard it is challenging and definitely out on your own.

Kinda funny actually that you mentioned that. Feels like I spend as much time cleaning it after each trail run as the time on the trail.

@@Trail89Adventures The Jeep looks well maintained. Thus, like your videos, you're doing a great job with the Jeep upkeep too. Thanks for sharing.

FR11 is called the Mesquite Wash Road.

I have been trying to find a name. Only thing I found was Old Highway 87 and that was posted on the trail marker. Where did you find Mesquite Wash?

What tire pressure do you use? I have a Toyota Tundra and would like to run some of these trails.

I generally run 25psi off road. I know a lot of folks go a lot lower but I don’t run crazy rock crawling trails. So with 25psi and my adjustable shocks it seems to work pretty well for me.

Question…where did you find your molly panels for the outside of your Jeep?
@Trail89Adventures
@Trail89Adventures Ай бұрын
There is a specific driver side and passenger side panel. Here is a link for both. Hope this helps. FURYENGRAVER Rear Window Storage... www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5MVPWRP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share FURYENGRAVER Rear Window Storage... www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5MWRSN9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I enjoy doing that run. Usually once a year! Also usually a LOT of people on the trails ha. I have been thinking about trying to help document/update trails after I retire next year. Any tips?

I use the Gaia GPS app to map trails as I am making trail guides. I would get familiar with using that app, recording tracks, logging waypoints, and photos to start.

Is your Jeep Snazzberry color? I have 2021 EcoDiesel Snazzberry myself. Have you had good luck with EcoDiesel? I’m loving mine that I recently just purchased. If you’re ever down in Tucson riding hit us up. Thx Ozzie

Can you get to the back of Saguaro lake off of 4 peaks trail? If so, is it tough?
@Trail89Adventures
@Trail89Adventures 2 ай бұрын
You sure can get there. There are multiple ways to get there but this is the absolute easiest and least technical. 4WD and high clearance are recommended due to deep sand and some rocks. From Four Peaks Roads and Highway 87 head east on Four Peaks Road (FR143) to the Third staging area. Take FR1343 south until it ends at FR13. Take FR13 east for a short distance to FR1811 Take that south until FR1813. (Almost a U-turn) Take FR1813 north to FR1814. Take that south until you get to the lake and Cove #1 I would suggest using the Trails Offroad app as all of these trails are listed on the app with maps and gps routes you can follow.
