Sometimes ya just hafta say the opposition were better, and tonight Fulham were on it all over the pitch. Spurs never looked comfortable in possession and thats down to Fulham intensity. Spurs also never showed any teeth til 3-0 down, which I think was much of the problem tonight. You hafta match Fulham's physicality and battle to allow the quality to show, we just didnt

Leaving ourselves totally exposed at the back might work if we are banging goals in but when it looks like we can’t hit a barn door we are always going to be in trouble. I have yet to be convinced that this style of play will work in the Premier League. Today was an utter failure and yet again a real disappointment for fans who were so buoyant after last weeks performance.

Defence wins trophies. Cant concede 42 goals in 28 games and be competitive. I get what what Ange says about growth as a team we still need some tactics i think on defence. Pressing high does not always work, one ball over the top has been killing us ALL SEASON. Thanks to vicario, van de ven and poor finishing from opposing teams things arent looking bad on the surface. Also more quality players needed. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

I think we missed Van der Ven. But it was Radu's first game so I wouldn't put too much blame on him.I'd say we got over optimistic after the Villa game. We need to be switched on from the get go and for 90 minutes.

You did miss van der ven today, but as a United fan, we've missed Licha, Shaw, Awb, Malacia, casemiro, Martial e.t.c for most of the season and the media still calling for ETH'S head but Ange gets away with it🤦🏿‍♂️ If United lost in the manner which spurs lost in today we wouldn't hear the end of it. ETH'S first season he won the Caraboa cup, got into the fa cup final, quarter final europa league and 3rd place finish, big Ange is fighting to get top 4😂😂😂😂 Give ETH his props man. Fulham took the risks to pick off the passes that would have opened them up AND they played fast one touch footie and scored three times. Spurs missed 5 golden chances, but in general played way below par. Bottom line, Fulham deserved it on the day.

It is clear that this time the manager was at fault. Even without the benefit of hinde sight it was evident within the first half hour that there was something wrong with all the starting midfielders. Many wrong passes and a lethargic attitude when starting an attack or when passing to the forwards. Apparently they subconciously thought they are irreplaceable. Or maybe some days things just don't click even if they are excellent players. The manager should have noted this immediately and made changes before or after the first goal. The pep talk during half time does not always work. If it were not for the goal keeper the result would have been seven or more.
