Great content as always Fozzie. It was fantastic to see you in action at the Cae Ras when I was back home from Melbourne for the York City game on 26/03/23. Wishing SPM a speedy recovery. I'm sure the club is doing a Stella job helping out his family while he is away.

Get well soon Paul. Punctured my left lung playing footy last season. Still feel it, have scar tissue that rubs after/during heavy exercise which causes discomfort. hes kind of a lucky man to have done it in a professional environment, and prob got treated before complications had a chance to occur. ngl puncturing the lungs painful enough. But the air escaping into the chest cavity with no where to go, when it finally crushes and shifts the heart out of alignment from the build up of pressure really really really fing hurts/sucks. Paul is an athlete so will recover way better and faster than i have, but my best advice is even when the body feels like its getting better, don't let it trick you into rushing back or trying to speed threw or over exerting too soon.

Mr. Foster, we need a documentary about Paul Mullin... We need to understand his mind, philosophy, politics, spirituality, etc... In Toronto, Canada, we are inspired by who Paul Mullin is as a human being... We want to learn more... We are Toronto FC supporters here (it's been a hard season for us). I know Wales has been introduced to coach Bob Bradley in the past- we are in early stages of recovery... But we thank the high heavens for the story about Wrexham AFC. And more importantly, we are just amazed at the "perseverence and dedication" of Paul Mullin to this game of football... And we wish him the very best in his recovery. Take it slow. Take it easy. I've got 3 plates holding my left rib cage together myself... I understand the injury. Scaring of the lungs is inevitable because of the shattering of his ribs (punctured lung whatever they call it). But he needs to take all the time he needs, maybe even the whole year. His recovery is all that should matter right now...

Fractured ribs will still be very painful 2-3 months after. 1 month is very optimistic. I wouldn't expect to see him training again for at least 10 weeks.

From the replays I saw, that keeper didn't seem to make any kind of football play. He just ran up and collided with Mullin.

Wish SuperPaul a good recovery... But that is a red card in my book. Yes injuries happen, yes there is contacts in football, but on the other angles I saw on some replay, he doest go for the ball or he's really late...either way red, even on friendly you need to set exemples.

This is why I don’t blame Parkie. If the ref is gonna give a weak yellow, someone has to protect Mullin and the game. Was the keeper malicious? Absolutely not. Reckless? 100%. Can’t have that.

@@stacyg9868 I agre and lean on the reckless side too. And yes Parkie was well into his role to be mad and with reason. If it was the other way around and a ManU key player was injured due to a reckless action in a friendly I would say the same. Of course even in friendly there is competition, but like you said that was reckless.

This comment is absolute nonsense. The comments your are talking about are: Q: Has the goalie come over and apologised? A: I haven’t seen the goalie and he’s probably best steering clear of us for the time being because we’re not very happy. Basically he's saying 'don't come over and apologise in person. What's the point, Mullin's in hospital, so he's going to apologise to who??

You have a severe lack of knowledge of the game Mike. It was a 50/50 ball on the edge of the box. There was absolutely no malicious intent. If you did have a greater knowledge of the game and paid attention you would know that Ten Hag wants his keepers to not be as passive as De Gea was which leads to Bishop pushing for a 50/50 ball. Your manager sure showed his levels though. Top managers would have left it at no and moved on. Parkinson clearly isn't a top manager though. Y'all have fun getting spanked by the League 2 sides like you did against MK Dons. Professional ball is a bit tougher....

Some of y'all truly never played sports and it shows. He went for a 50/50 ball on the edge of his box and doesn't realize he isn't going to make it until literally the last moment and so he moves to protect himself. Bishop still gets punched in the face during the collision. Fozzy knows exactly what Nate was thinking and know there was absolutely no ill intent whatsoever because he has actually played the sport and doesn't just watch it from home with the benefits of instant slo mo replay.

Tf are u on about mullen didnt do that damage because hes relaxed and didnt expect it if you knew anything if you are relaxed and arnt expecting it you take less damage and you not hurt as much wheres if you tense up or brace you will be hurt much more
