Movie-"Giant Little Ones" Canada 2018
- A story about two friends.After Franky's revelation of his
love for his best friend,Ballas rejects him and cowardly betrays,
telling everyone what happened to them that night.Friendship
turned into enmity.Left alone Franky tries to restore friendship,
but to no avail.He is supported by his sister's friend Natasha.
Song- Revelation / Troye Sivan & Jonsi.

See, if only the soundtrack had a vibe like this one and the gimme love edit on this movie, then I would add it to an all time favourite list. the music sounds so royalty free, it honestly pisses me off how much it disrupts the fluidity of the film.

My understanding of the movie was different than you Siger miller. I think that Ballas is the one who is gay but so ashamed and afraid of it that he told everyone that Franky was gay to immunize himself in case Franky said anything. Franky woke up to find Ballas going down on him. Franky tried to talk about it but was rejected by Ballas. At the end, my understanding is that Franky realized that he cared about Ballas ... but I think as a friend. It seemed to me that Franky is straight and attracted to girls and in particular to Ballas' sister, Natasha. I can see other interpretations and one of the strengths of the movie is how it shows that different people (characters) tend to view something from their own perspective and not put themselves in the position of the other person. For example, Franky's dad seems to immediately assume that Franky is gay and trying to deal with it as he had to do. Franky's mom is so hurt from her husband leaving her that she also jumps to conclusions.

i agree that ballas is gay but i also think franky is bi, hes obviously shaken up by how things went down, and he isnt disgusted unlike ballas who struggles with internalized homophobia. idk i believe that ballas came onto him but then franky sucked him off and ballas got cold feet. i could be wrong

@@toafi5107 Here's another thought : They're both into each other, but mostly as friends. As they mature, so does the closeness. One night, after a few drinks, they wind up together, and Ballas goes one step further, he goes down on Frankie, thinking Frankie has passed out. When Frankie wakes up, Ballas freaks out, and we saw the rest. What I don't understand, is why didn't they keep their 'secret' between themselves and remain friends?

@@toafi5107 Somehow, I think Ballas was blowing Frankie while Frankie was asleep, but then he woke up. That's why Ballas freaked out and left. Later, Frankie is at Ballas's house, and Ballas says "I told people I woke up and you were sucking my dick". Then Frankie replies "Dude, that's not what happened, you went down on me"

I think Frankie is probably bi. After what happened he wanted Ballas to stay. Ballas ran away couldn't deal with his truth yet Frankie still was willing to be there for him. I think the words Frankie's father said rang true he loved Ballas which is why to him everything that happened between them felt normal and why he was so tortured by it. Ballas' self hatred towards his own feelings and sexuality ruined the friendship and the potential for them to maintain their childhood long relationship inherently pushing Frankie into his sister's arms.
