Happy Thanksgiving my dear u-tubebfriend Your always welcome to camp out at my place anytime would love to spend time with you but only as much as you would like. I’m not one to impose. Mi Casa u Casa. Would love to fly out to Az and meet you. It takes much arrangements due to my angle grandson. Very hard to find help for a non verbal special needs. I think he is easier than most 10 year olds but we have our unspoken langue and he is very amazing about showing me what he wants. Can’t wait to hear the dates so I can see if at all possible. Your on my bucket list of people to meet. I’m not ready for the bucket. Just the list😂😂😂😂😂

I lived about 50 mi. east of this park awhile ago. There are bears galore in this area and they would not hesitate to after your pup. Just a word of caution

As of November 3rd the state forest reservable numbered sites will cost $10 per night. They are no longer free. As a Pennsylvania resident I am not thrilled with this change.

Pennsylvania had the most gorgeous autumn this year! I’ve only lived here for 3 years, but have no regrets…. I think rather than tracking people they want to limit the traffic out there. I know you must feel hemmed in in the crowded East!

Fantastic idea about the walking app. I will try that. I also like to pull up my all trails app and then pull up the map for the trail I'm on and it shows me where I'm at.

Nice to see you in my home state but your about 5 hours away in the NorthEast area lol. PA is definitely a huge state that seems never ending when you drive it but so many beautiful areas to see and a lot of places to check out that are peaceful and calming plus don’t have to worry about crime like other states, cities as much. Before I became disabled I loved hiking, walking, summer time free tanning/swimming/wading/tubing in the creeks, rivers and rocks.. oh the good ole days & years I miss 😢

Hi Carolyn! Thank you for more wonderful content! I love PA, I haven't been back for over 30 years. More and more, my daughter and I have been pining to return to the open road. I just have to figure out a way to obtain a vehicle on my social security budget, lol. Once I do, though, I’ll save on rent and will be living the life I’m meant to live. BTW, I’ve commented before - long-time sub - but I keep changing my name. I started as Jennifer KellyWatt, then I was My Wander Years, and now I’ve changed it again. Can’t seem to settle. This latest is sort of an inside joke between my daughter and me. I keep seeing videos with titles that start “Solo female lives in this…” Why is it never “Solo Male?” Calling women “female” makes me cringe, so I took it back and it morphed into my current handle. Just taking it out for a spin to see how it feels. 🙃 Warm wishes to the kindest, most free woman on the tubes! I love seeing you, my dear.

I grew up around chestnut trees…horse chestnuts grow in the spiky shells. We collected them as kids to use as ammunition. Never roasted a single one, and couldn’t believe that people actually ate them.

Thank you for sharing when this was actually filmed. We want to travel. We have only been weekend warriors in a 3-5 hour radius from Western KY. So it is SUPER nice to know how the weather is in certain areas of the country so we do not get socked in by horrible weather. And YES we visited NY this past spring. Loved all the different sounds and different birds. I really miss, what I think, was probably the wood thrush or some type of thrush.....was just lovely each evening....and the Loon's in the Thousand Island region. The Loon's were such a eerie yet romantic sound every night. Anyways....Love your videos.....as always.

Just sold my house in Delaware near Rehoboth Beach. Moved to the CA desert......DE is a great state to live in low taxes.....no sales tax....hope you liked it.

You are so close to my home base! DE to NC within a week is a lot of traffic time in the East. I would do the turnpike if I were you, as most of the way (with little time) is sprawl. Lots to see but not on your schedule. DE and the eastern shore of MD are wonderful. Safe travels!

I just bought one of those to grind grains and make great flours - plus, tother things. I’m so glad to see how well it works. Sure is pretty where you are camped! BTW, you “know” you are going to get comments about Sadie sleeping on the dash! So, get ready! Lol Love ya! ♥️🙏🏼♥️

Welcome to my (and your, lol) home state of PA. I will say that the PA parks are beautiful. They were my home away from home when I was a kid. Glad you enjoyed it.😊 Oh, and those prickly things are buckeyes. We used to have contests when we were kids to see who could find the most bc those things were everyyyyywhereeee, lol.😂

That was an Asian chestnut seed! Asian chestnuts are the chestnuts we eat . The American Chestnut trees caught A fungus from them and you can only find them as sucker growths from old stump and root systems . Chestnuts fall to the ground after a frost , I use my feet to step on and roll them so I can get the seeds without getting pricked!

Ty for this video. I can relate to that feeling of having our lives monitored at ever second. It is as though I've had a choke hold on myself. We are not alone. Compliance sometimes my rebellious side has a bit of a tantrum to how much life is everyone's busy; before we even know ourselves what we are doing. Great camp video and scenery of fall is the bomb. #CAMPSITE 4 and 11 were both great, pretty cool they have different styles of sites basically. That park is gorgeous. I could smell those scenes. I miss Midwest autumn so much here in AZ... No better smell to me than that of decaying wet leaves lol

#Flour buckwheat groats & oak groats (steel cut), #Campsite 11 (so easy lol). I remember that Presidents sign ugh 🤣 When I traveled in my R V-1 of my 3 cats loved to lay in the front window in the left corner. But when he'd move in front of my steering wheel it was a challenge in my class A to move him so I could see🤣🤣 Sadie brought up that memory the second I saw her up there lol. That bridge at the beginning was amazing with the picture window of the beautiful trees!!!! I never knew how to make flour until you showed us. I remember the Amish store where you bought it. So glad Sadie girl had so much fun at your Mom's. Hope you weren't too sad after you left. Beautiful scenery in this video!! Thank you for all your hours you put into making them❣

😂 when we’d come up to visit at my grandmas home in Portland she had a chestnut tree. My cousins used to toss the in the hull still nuts at each other, me & my sibs when they were still green. They could really hurt.

I think the prickly thing is the casing for a buckeye (chestnut). PA is next to the Buckeye State--Ohio.

Loved seeing those fall colors again. Here in MN we now have about 4" of snow on the ground that will leave sometime in March 2023. Sadie is such a tease with the ball just the way my dog Handsome used to tease. That brought back some memories too. Pennsylvania is pretty, but expensive to live in. I'm from there. Don't miss the cold really. But planning on going there next yr to see my grand babies. Just wish we had a camper and we don't. But camping would be great

Oh Wow Carolyn! I live pretty close to Moon Lake and it is a beautiful place. I used to fish and hike there as a kid. I love your videos and you have absolutely inspired me to plan on getting an RV soon and traveling around the country. There seems to be a lot to learn when starting out in an RV but sounds like a lot of fun. I love the desert and hope to spend time RVing out there in the near future. Did you see any black bears at Moon Lake? Good Luck on your future travels!
