Comparing the criminal records really takes me back. Also, little-known fact, potato chips are highly flammable and can be used to start fires without the telltale signs of petrochemicals. I don't know why I know that.

Every time I'm interviewing a new line cook, prep guy what have you, the interview consists of me asking the basic questions followed by me trying to talk them out of wanting the position for about 15 mins.

Also, more for a line cook, be sure to dump your bourbon laden Coke into the bartender's sink and then try to act like you're sober while failing to properly hit on anyone, or anything, that walks near the kitchen. Based on actual events, I was the bartender in question.

The one about pouring gasoline around, lighting it and leaving is completely wrong. In reality, the chef's still is going to be the thing that explodes, and it will do it at about 2 am when no is around, and the owner can blame the line cooks. Act like a chef!
