only way to get that bolt out is to loosen the ird and move it back out of the way, found out the hard way, spent three day at it

you don't have to remove the IRD unit, you can get to the hidden bolt from the top of the engine, why remove things when you don't have to?? you may have to loosen it off a bit, but that's all!!

Your supposed to remove the transfir box (ird unit) before removing the gear box so u can also acces the lower bolt that's why it wasn't easy removing the box you plank

Looking at 0:10 sec, there are 3 bolt holes on top right side. 2 higher that are on the same level and one lower , just left from the others. Is the lower one for a bolt thats also holding the gearbox in place? I removed everything else and can feel a bolt head from the engine side there but cant even get a wrench to it. How did you remove it? What do you have to do to get to it? Thanks for your help!

Only harry potter could get the bolt out that holds the transfer box to the gearbox, There is a tiny space and i can see the head of a bolt which is completely impossible to get to without taking off the transfer box itself. fuck sake help
