You have a beautiful garden. I wish my climate was more like the Southern California one. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you! We’re definitely lucky with our California climate here, but luckily these succulents can do well in a lot of climates, indoor and outdoors.

Beautiful! I have several varieties of Aeoniums in my garden as well as jade plants. I’m also from central coast California and they thrive so well because it is never too hot or too cold. Thinking of selling the cuttings on Etsy come spring time.

I really love aeoniums, and they grow so quickly - once you cut them you'll get even more! I have too many now and need to start giving them away!

Hi there, thank you so much for the info. I am a newbie at this and I am already in love with succulents❤ I love your collection! I love that neighbors put out for free on their sidewalk❤️ I will be visiting in August. Can you give me a hint where your neighbors are located? 😜

Do you water when you stick the callused cuttings in the soil? The soil in the planting pot you are showing on the video looks quite moist but I want to make sure of how much water I need to give them when I stick them in the ground.

Can i plant aeonium this summer?
@FreePlantsForever
@FreePlantsForever 14 күн бұрын
Aeonium do go dormant in the summer. You can certainly plant them, but it just might take longer to establish and look their best. My favorite time to plant them is in fall when it's a little cooler and they're less likely to get sunburned.

Assuming it's an aeonium and not another type of succulent, they do often create new pups before they flower to carry on living 😁

@@FreePlantsForever sorry I'm a bit confused I got this plant from my grandmother it's very large and old so you're saying every separate stock is a individual plant I was under the impression that it was all one plant with multiple stalks

@@FreePlantsForever I'm almost positive it's aeonium I'm pretty experienced with plants I'm relatively new to be an interested in succulents it looks just like an aeonium the rosette groves on a long thick stock and they will turn purple if they get too much sun but it's in a big pot with at least seven stops coming out probably more and it breaks easily when it gets bumped so I have removed like 15 stocks and propagated them

I'm looking on Google. And it says that it can take 3 to 10 years to flower is that true
@FreePlantsForever

That sounds about right, but luckily they always seem to create new pups before they bloom.
