Hey! I bought the smallrig 3061 for the weebill 3s, but I'm not really sure how to mount it, it doesn't looks like it'll fit nicely because of one of the pins on the gimbals plate. Could you help me out??

Looks good. For me I think the smaller form should be a bit smaller, you know, for travelling, but still, looks pretty good.

Great review. Well designed central column. Does look pretty similar to the Sirui travel tripod. The head does look a bit complicated to use though. How does it work with combination like the Sigma 150-600 and S5II? Is a comparison b/w the Sirui, Freewell, Peak design and Ulanzi travel tripods possible?

Thank you! It is actually very different than the SIRUI counterpart, as I have explained below. The heaviest combination that I have tested it with is S5 II and 70-200. I don’t have other travel tripods, so that is not possible.

2:03 this is 150 cm ? looks higher

As far as I understand, only the legs are 150cm, head is not included, I will have to check that.

Do you have any knowledge or experience with the Benro CyanBird? The head on this seems very similar, but the CyanBird gets a couple inches higher and I think looks more aesthetically pleasing. Struggling to decide on which to get.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with that tripod. Internal twisting leg locks are probably a must have for me personally in this category.

Yes, but it doesn't have a bowl - which makes it suck for pretty much everything.

There is no tripod even remotely close to the size of the T1 with a bowl. Expecting that from a 42cm long travel tripod is not reasonable. And no, tripods without a bowl definitely don't "suck for pretty much everything".

The diameter of those tripods is much larger and they only achieve that size by sacrificing the central column. If you need a bowl in this size category, getting a leveling adapter and keeping the central column is IMO a better solution than sacrificing the central column.

Sorry, but imo only a Nikon user (used to their gear being unnecessary complex) can call a tripod head where you need to operate four!!! different screws to bring the camera into a portrait position as "pretty advanced" 😂 As much as I like what freewell did with the legs, this head sucks hard. Versatile, sure, but also waaayyy too cumbersome to operate.

I am not a Nikon user, so I can't comment on that. Do you know different tripod head at that size, that can do that? 99% of heads don't have portrait option at all. If you don't like how it is done, just don't use that function...
