It's important to make a budget for yourself, allocate your resources wisely, and plan your lessons to ensure you're ready from day one. Find your team by connecting with other teachers and staff at the school to build a support network, and be open to listening and engaging with colleagues. Think through your routines and procedures to establish clear classroom management strategies, and always maintain professionalism by not talking badly about the person you replaced. Set up your art room thoughtfully, arranging it in a way that supports your teaching style and meets your students' needs. Above all, stay positive and flexible, adapting to new situations with a good attitude.
