Thanks! I had to do this one when I saw this cover, also it relates to one of my favourite parts of the book.

I enjoyed The Thursday Murder Club. For me it was a nice cozy mystery! But I haven't felt compelled to read the next one. I love David Sedaris on audio. His delivery is delightful!

Your frequent Sedaris reviews have made me want to revisit him 😁I still might get another new one once I have an audible credit, but as it's been so long I knew I'd have forgotten all the lovely turn of phrases he uses in this.

Good for you, Aaron, running 5K a day!! 👍🏼 Should I tell you I’m watching you while walking on the treadmill? 😂 No 5K, but not bad for an old lady! I love The Thursday Murder Club series! Great video, Aaron!!😊

I am often cooking and watching booktube, treadmilling is a good one! Never too old to run, we have people doing our parkrun every Saturday morning of all ages, I'm frequently overtaken by people twice my age 😂

@@AaronReadABook I love that you’re cooking when watching! I’m not really able to run anymore, though I used to. Now, arthritic knees and back make running virtually impossible, but I can still walk pretty fast! 😊 And I lift weights! I was talking to a group of friends last night from college, and they were calling me a gym rat! Pretty funny! Anyway, I love your videos, Aaron! You make me smile. 😊

Brilliant selection Aaron. I’ve read the first few Thursday Murder Club books. Joyce’s character continues to be amazing. I also picked up Brotherless Night for 99p. Couldn’t resist. I reread The Rats last year for GarbAugust and absolutely loved it. Great video and well done on the 5k a day 😊

Glad The Rats is good! I'm still seeking out an old copy of it with a creepy cover.

I've only started running again 3 weeks ago, so 5k a day sounds very impressive to me!! I really enjoyed Wilding. How could you not write that book with the surname of Tree!! James Herbert I've read the magic cottage, portent and sepulchre, enjoyed all. Yay for brotherless night!! I've got the Thursday murder club, but haven't read it yet, so you weren't the very last person!

I don't advise doing 5k a day, I am constantly aching because of no recovery time. I prefer longer runs generally too, but maybe once or twice a week. I think you'd like Thursday Murder Club, it's very English.

Dark Matter is really solid. Blake Crouch is very accessible, action packed Sci-Fi. I think I’ve read all of his books. Brotherless Night is fantastic! One of my favorites from the women’s prize list. It’s a bit slow in places, but quite meaningful. teries, but this one typically gets such good reviews. Great running goals. I love Sedaris. His books are always enjoyable.

I DNF'd Dark Matter, I instantly hated the writing which sometimes happens, just a clash. I've heard so many good things about Brotherless Night, so I'm looking forward to it!

Wow, 5 k a day, that’s amazing! Wilding sounds really good, I’ll have to keep that one on my radar. “I, Who Have Only Known Men” is on my list to read next! Great wrap up. I can’t wait for the Thursday Murder Club (not reading it until he finishes the series haha).

A slight spoiler for my friday reads this week but I'm on the last few pages of 'I, Who Have Only Known Men' and it's astonishingly good, I would be very surprised if it isn't in my top 5 books of the year.

I read “The Fog” when I was 13/14. Unsure whether that was too early, or exactly the right age :)

I read this book really young too, mainly because I thought it was the book version of John Carpenter’s The Fog and was surprised that it wasn’t. Mum was pissed I read it but Dad seemed impressed 😂
