You know, for a time in one of the snapshots, those frogs were capable of eating the player and causing a permaban of the server or your world, so Alex's fear of frogs is understandable.

In an early beta for the update that included frogs there was a glitch where the frog would eat the player character and that would permanently destroy our world because when frogs eat something they just delete it so it would delete the player character and you would have to do a whole lot of stuff to fix it

To be fair. This is a lot tamer than the usual practical jokes Steve gets up to. I’d say that’s development.

I'm with Alex on the frogs being scary because my only experience of the frogs was someone playing with the mod that enables frogs to attack the player. Their tongue comes out like 6 blocks or more and grabs you and drags you into their mouth. You are enveloped inside the frog and then die. That shit's pretty scary. One of the most dangerous monsters in Minecraft! I spent this whole video on edge expecting the players to die horribly at any moment!

Honestly in my opinion, Alex definitely had that one coming to her, I mean, think in Steve's shoes for a second, you are sound asleep, then Alex, a girl that you know can basically handle entire hordes of monsters all by herself, comes in screaming, only for it to be a couple of frogs, honestly, it looked to me like instead of going in there to kill monsters that scared Alex, he was about to beat Alex for waking him up, then when she saw why she was screaming, he used the frogs kind of like a punishment. but that is just what I see
