In this series we will look at the psychological significance in Story, Myth and Legend. But before diving into the vast topic itself, there will be some introduction videos, that try to explain some fundamental concepts to better understand the stories and their significance. In this first video the concept of Archetypes is explained.

Amazing! Thank you for the insight you have given in this video. I have recently found this series and I am amazed by the quality and effort put into it, as well as the easy-to-understand descriptions of what archetypes are and so on. @@eversbrothersproductions1476 What is the best way to send it to you? Because I finished it a couple of days ago. I just started reading The Hero With A Thousand Faces about a month ago (I'm in the middle rn), so my understanding of some concepts might not be totally proficient yet. But, I have been fascinated by Campbell's work (which I found through the show The Power of Myth), so I plan on re-reading it after I'm done. Thanks for the response btw.

I highly recommend Michael Witzel’s “The Origins of the World’s Mythologies”. I think it will change your mind on the archetypes and the collective unconscious idea. It will also shed some light on the common story from time unrecorded.
