He provided the money for people with the creativity to build a good product on, both of them needed what the other provided, so it's ridiculous to say he did nothing. Plus even if it were true that Saverin did nothing (which it clearly isn't), does that still make it fine to fuck over a friend? He didn't think to talk to Eduardo about his contribution first before stabbing him in the back? Just face it; whether Saverin's contribution was as big or small as either of us think it could have been, the fact remains that Zuckerberg absolutely fucked over his friend. Zuckerberg may be a brilliant man who took a basic idea and made it great, but he is also an underhanded sneaky back-stabbing cunt who not only fucked over the Winklevoss twins but then proceeded to fuck over his friend who paid for the company to even get off the ground.

However seeing as he did make settlements with both Saverin and the Winklevoss twins, that leads me to believe that he did fuck them over. it's not about greed. it's stated multiple times in the film that zuckerberg doesn't care or know anything about money. which isn't even true about the real mark zuckerberg, so the fact that they fabricated that detail pretty clearly shows that they're not trying to cast him as greedy. his character is supposed to be egotistical and superficial, not greedy.

If that wasn’t the case, they wouldn’t have tried to perfectly recreate every crime scene in Zodiac. As for the Social Network, it wasn’t 100% accurate due to the lack of available info. However, both Sorkin and Fincher went above and beyond in crafting the story to make it as accurate as humanly possible. I mean Sorkin went as so far to interview Natalie Portman who went to Harvard at the time to grasp the effect ‘The Facebook’ had on the campus. I’m sure the film isn’t too far off from what actually happened.
