FTdx101mp EQ Settings maybe there is some one can use these settings and this is helpfull for the beginning. I use these settings and it sounds very good i like the sound of my Modulation...

Hi Bert, Thanks for a very informative video. I bought an FTDX101MP just before Christmas and have been busy setting it up for different modes. I also have an MD100 mic and will try your settings to see how I sound. However my usual method of operating is using a Heil HC7 headset as this keeps the XYL happy as she doesn’t want to listen to QSO’s. 73’s from Wales GW0RYT

What are you having your Proc and Mic gain set at for these eq settings ?

Hello there i have my Prc. level 50 % and the Mic gain is 80 % this works fine but that can be different you have to figure it out but most of the time it wil work with my Settings....thank you for your question hope i can help you out there....wish you all the best Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR..💯👍

2 days in the book and your settings got me a lot more solid on set up but I got a deep voice and I need more highs in my voice transmission I’m using a Heil Gm4 mic

@@PA5HR1 De KG4MUK thank you for these helpful videos , your settings were perfectly fine I only had to drop a 100k differences in my lows to get mine to work with my deep voice you can catch me on 7.193 or 14.240-255 eastern time usa around 19:00-21 hrs and Friday nights Frm 19:00- till bands close

Hallo ...Danke fuer deinen Kommenrtar und Deine frage ja ich habe es noch und benutze es im moment nicht an meinem FTdx 101mp das MD100 spielt sehr gut an diesem trx...die Parameter fuer das Microfoon sind ja von Stimmlage und Frqeunz in der Stimme abhaengig ich habe sie als eine klassiche Badewannen kurve eingestellt bei der Dynamischen kapsel bei der Kondensator kapsel ist das wieder etwas anders da muss man ein bischen spielen mit den Werten das Micro klingt nicht schlecht, fuer mich ist es aber ein bischen zu kompliziert um es richtig an zu passen wegen der zwei kapseln darum habe ich es nur an dem FT991 angeschlossen und arbeite da auf FM und dort klingt es gut....so danke noch mal Vy73 glg de Bert PA5HR

Hello Bert I don’t understand why you also have to have the MD100 high emphasis on? Surely you should be able to adjust the 3 parametric amps only? 73 and thanks Rob G3RCE

Hello Bert ...do you have any settings for AM mode to recommend .... AM is popular in UK on 160 80 60 and sometimes 10m ...I have a MP and the MD-100axp

Hello Steve sorry about the Settings in AM mode i dont use this Mode so my settings i use only in SSB i dont have another setting for this TRX so sorry that i cant help you out with it wish you good luck with the AM Mode an maybe you wil find any good Settings Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR

Hir Dear OM, Bonjour, J'ai réglé mon FTDX-101MP suivant l'ensemble de vos paramètres. Cela restitue une modulation claire et nette. A titre d'information j'ai calé le Compresseur sur 2 et le Mic Gain a 50. J'utilise un MD-100 avec son filtre EMPHASIS et le LOW CUT sur 1 Mon AMC est réglé sur 33 Hello, I set my FTDX-101MP according to all of your parameters. This renders a clear and crisp modulation. For information, I set the Compressor to 2 and the MIC Gain to 50. I use an MD-100 with its EMPHASIS filter and the LOW CUT to 1 My AMC OUT on level 33 Best Regards and 73's

Hi Bert what are your proc levels and your mic gain levels? also on the md100 what switches do you have set up on the bottom of the microphone ? regards Mick

Hello Bert, I am fixing to buy ftdx 100 mp. Do you think it is worth getting the 1.2 kilohertz filter? I just wanted for the main receiver. Thank you

Hello Jim and thank you for reacting i use the Ftdx 101 MP without the 1.2 KHZ Filter and i think it is not nessary to have this filter the TRX works with the dsp and all on board Filters very good so i work simply with the filters they comes with it ....thank you again and wish you good luck with the fantastic radio...Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR

I was worried about how they did it because the filters they say have to be installed by Yaesu, they are solder in and not the push in kind. Hello Andy thank you for your reaction and question about the Heil pro set but sorry I don't use this kind of Micro's and have no experience with it and I can't tell you any settings there i work only with my Yaesu Micro's MD100 and M-1 this works realy fine for me so Sorry again maybe somebody else has some Settings wish you all the Best Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR

Hallo Pat Ik heb nog nooit een heil set gebruikt dus ik heb geen idee wat je voor settings moet gebruiken maar als je weet waar je moet zijn dat is hier te zien moet het wel lukken jou heil set goed in te kunnen stellen...wens je succes ermee en gefeliciteerd met je nieuwe aanwinst heb je zeker een goede set gekocht.....dus Vy 73 en wie weet tot horens groeten de Bert PA5HR
