This was family values. No kids bitching that they didn’t get a $1300 cell phone, $600 game consoles. We were happy to get action figures, clothes, books, and simple things. But always looked forward to the family being together. This new generation would be so disappointed while we were so happy! Btw , my mom had those damn wooden back chairs. So uncomfortable lol. Ty for sharing your memories and taking me back to a happier and simpler time. 🙏💜

No doubt. We used to have this old wedding video of my aunts.. as people started passing away (especially the older people in the video), I'd go back and watch it and think of them. Idk what happened to that video. No telling.
