I'm 6 weeks away from a bikini competition with about 5 lbs left to lose before it gets here!
So, here's what I'm eating to hit 1200 calories!

Yes!! I rarely have to spend too much time in the kitchen, and we never need to eat out. Basic proteins, grains, and veggies can be so simple.

You know what I find that is so great about your meals, they are foods I always have and love to eat! So simple and the biggest help you have given to me is showing portion size! I grew up in a house that demanded eating everything on your plate so not to waste anything. So there was no such thing as portion sizes for me. I started your 30 day meal plan a few days ago. I was picking my meals from your blog each day before and I have lost 5lbs doing that. Since starting the 30 day plan I have lost another 2lbs! I was also suffering from a menopausal eating disorder. I was constantly hungry! But you have changed all of that for me! For the first time in my life I've learned how to become healthy! I am so happy I found you and I thank you so much for sharing and all you do to help others!

Yes! So many people don't understand how few calories we need at 5'0 tall! It doesn't take a lot to gain weight either. So, it's kind of unfair. Lol 😆 @charmainevh779

Thanks for all the info u provide. After seeing that caramel syrup I had to look it up! It looked too good to be true. I was disappointed to see the ingredient list though, including carrageenan and sucralose, a recipe for potential gut issues since sucralose is one of the worst artificial sweeteners for the gut biome and carrageenan has shown to cause potential tumor growth in the gut. I wish companies would use a safer sweetener and thickener so we don't have to put our health on the line in order to reach our health/fitness goals. I may attempt to make my own homemade caramel sauce using something like allulose to sweeten it. I usually make one with coconut sugar but it also contains 4g sugar/ tsp and 20 calories 🤷

I like these “what I eat in a day” videos too, thanks for sharing! I have the ninja creami, and I think it is great. Almond milk, protein powder, and allulose and you have a tasty high protein, low calorie dessert. You can vary it with different flavored protein powders, cocoa powder, cinnamon, etc, etc, literally hundreds of possibilities. Very easy to make, rich and filling desserts. Good luck at the fitness show!

What is Bolthouse dressing? Is it fat free? What r the ingredients? I've never heard of it but I don't use salad dressings bcz I've never found one without crappy ingredients.

Bolthouse is a lowfat yogurt/buttermilk dressing. It's sold in the refrigerated section of the produce department. I think the ingredients are OK., but you might want to check the label to decide if you think they are good for your standards.
