I've always done my herbal oils just with a long slow infusion. Welp, one time I thought I'd try to be quick about it. I put the herb in a pan with some oil and put it on the stove. (Are you laughing yet?) I swear, I put the heat as low as possible. What could it hurt? I thought. Those poor leaves got fried and crisped right up and the oil was dreadfully hot and I felt like an idiot. I don't know what possessed me to try that--I mean, it's common sense it wouldn't work--but I promise you it will never happen again, haha! 😂 Thanks for the video!

Would you please advise on the best beeswax for salves. And could you tell where I can find whole oat tops milky something 😢 not the straw, the one that looks like a whole wheat please🙏 Thanks

I like organic beeswax, and if I can I purchase from local farmers. Reverie Farms LLC is a small herb farm, and they grow beautiful oat tops! I also have had great results with Foster Farms Botanicals

I know your discussing oils ,but I want to ask if it's really okay to drink comfrey infusions?? Some herbalist say yes but in a least dose infusion and change out the rotation of other herb infusions made . Then another herbalist say strictly topical only. I'm so confused about it. Thank you for any help you have to give me on this.

Old timers have been drinking comfrey tea for years with no issues. The new science indicates it may be dangerous as a liver toxin. There is evidence that comfrey that caused damage may have NOT been comfrey at all and may have been adulterated with other herbs that harm the liver---as in comfrey capsules from other countries. In addition, many of the studies referred to have used extremely large amounts on rodents (not humans). So.... all we can do as individuals is do our best to research, purchase or better yet GROW pure comfrey, and make our own best decisions for ourselves. I'm sorry. It is definitely confusing. Herbalism in the U.S. and some other developed western countries is a free for all---and this is due, largely in part (in my opinion) to the money people. I'm happy to explain my personal opinions and suggestion on uses in my school on private platforms....I'm not comfortable discussing on social media. **And I must say that I am not a medical doctor and therefore do not provide any medical advice.
