As a leukaemia patient who is currently very sick and battling hard with things like extreme appetites, horrible heat exhaustion and extreme bloating and constipation as a side effect from chemo, i would be very offended if someone said it was my fault. Especially because i was surviving on wraps, chicken salads and healthy balanced meals as a result of my dietician mother. This guy is disgusting Edit for those interested: im no longer on chemo and getting a bone marrow transplant soon!

I'm sorry, but the fact that Chef Bob, in the middle of stage four cancer treatment still has a better looking hair and a hairline closer to his eyebrows than Mr Blue-Eye-Staring-Into-your-Soul AND still cooks and has a good relationship with his family and other creators is something so funny to me. I'm a woman. My current job is manual labor. I've lost 20 lbs since I started in MARCH. Two weeks ago I housed cheeseburgers for multiple meals 3 days in a row because my body was like, "yo, these veggies ain't doing shit," and you know what? Still losing weight. As a girl who developed an eating disorder, I'm still recovering today, and I got it like 5 years ago. I'd go days without eating anything. I literally tried to starve myself to death. It's not worth it guys. Do you think I look any prettier now? No. I'm horrifically underweight, you can see my bones, I always look like I'm going to pass out (usually true) and I have iron deficiency. I have no color in my face. Denying yourself good food to get thinner is only going to make you miserable. Having a bigger figure is beautiful in itself. Wrinkles, old age, body hair, there all wonderful parts about you. True beauty is being the most you you can be, and helping others see the,selves for who they are, and create that sort of community. I leanr3d that the hard way. I'm begging you, to anyone who needs to hear this, these people do not make you prettier. They make you easier to manipulate. If someone really has you best interest in mind, they would also mention what you already have. Sorry to break it to you, your not some special being born with nothing pretty about them. Your genes aren't that superhuman. Your beautiful as you are, but if your not satisfied with your appearance, then take better care of yourself by paying attention to your needs. I'm a Mexican teen who beat cancer this year. I went biking for 10 miles every other day, and on my off days I went to the gym. I watched what I ate, I was healthy. My brain tumor didn't come from the fact that I was Mexican or the fact that I was unhealthy, it came from the fact that one day my cells just decided to multiply like fcking crazy. As a recovered anorexic for a year when I first saw the lads video about how what I eat makes me fatter and so on, I immediately went into my old habits of throwing food in bins, making my food look like I finished it or just going to sleep so I don't get food which in turn made me more upset as I felt ashamed that I went back to the stage I worked so long to recover from what makes this worse is even my own mother thought that I was faking for attention and shouted at me for it. I was left alone without any family member to talk to about this so I turned to my favourite teachers but because of how damaged I was I turned to make jokes about how I'm feeling, what I do, what's going on and what has happened not only as a coping mechanism but as a way to cry for help because every time I opened up to something my needs were openly neglected. Life sucks a lot and to all the weans who are going through/were in my position, younger, older or the same age as me, please let this be a sign or a shout that you aren't alone cus I found ppl who care abt me and I struggle to show it to them that I care but if I could tell them how much of a parental figure they are to me, I would but even then ik that they'd probably already see that in me. There may be a person who/who'd care abt you even though you don't think so xoxo

Like most Hispanic families your parents tend to over feed you with pozole, tortas, tamales, huaraches, quesadillas, and much more. Most hispanic dishes contains beans, which actually lowers the risk of heart disease. As well as chilies and other hot peppers are full of capsaicin which helps fight off viruses and over 16 different types of fungal pathogens. I didn’t know this, and being told my culture’s food and food in general would damage my body, i began to starve myself.

My cat, Taz, had cancer and he rarely ever ate people food. I think the most "unhealthy" thing he ate was a singular McNugget that he stole from my mom. I don't think food is what causes the cancer.

The obsession/fetishization of teenagers makes absolutely no sense to me. Not like it actually matters because being attractive is not the tax you have to pay to exist, but I can attest that I am waaaaaaaaay hotter now at 24 than I was at 18. As someone who's 22 with cancer, the sheer amount of "young people can't get cancer, you must have done something wrong" is staggering. Is every single oncology waiting room I sit in filled only with old people aside from me? Yup. It's just not overtly common for young people to get cancer, but it happens naturally (unfortunatly) regardless of enviroment and lifestyle. My doctors all triple checked and yeah, there was no cause they could see for my cancer, it was just... Something my body decided to do one day. Certainly not old enough for food to have been a factor in all this 🙄

As a person who was bullied because of my body and has recently learned that I had an ilness that didn't allow me to lose weight, I just can't stand people who are so confident that the only reason you don't have an hourglass figure is because you eat like a horse. Even if it's not an ilness, it can still be genetic, since not everyone is even able to look like a instagram model. People are just ridiculous 🤦🏼‍♀️
